This tour will not disappoint. - We had an OUTSTANDING tour. This tour will not disappoint ! Began with a boat tour of the Lake heading to Mr Pilatus. Our guide, Ray, was so informative and fun.

Great Tour and Even Better Tour Guide - Well the tour had a hiccup to start - we booked it for the previous day and due to weather (heavy snow), the tour was cancelled at the last minute. Mother Nature! Our plans were flexible enough that we were able to re book for the next day - and we were so glad we did We met our guide Ray at the main train station in front of platform 7 at 10:15 for our tour. We had 14 people in the total group including my wife and I so it was very personal in terms of interaction. Ray’s amazing personality showed up immediately as he gathered us, gave us an overview of the day and walked us to the boat docks, pointing out a very interesting fact about the clock at the train station. We boarded the boat for our Lake Lucerne cruise and the experience was great. Ray kept us engaged with some background about the lake and the town which was great. After a few stops we ended up at the base of Mt Pilatus and Ray gave us the history and background of the site. We took the tram up to the top and the sights were beyond amazing. At the top, Ray walked us through various awesome facts about the summit and things to do while we were there. We were blessed that Ray joined us for lunch and we got to know his background. Have done a lot of tours and he was one of our all time favorites. After the summit we took the two stage cable cars down the other side of Mt Pilatus which was a completely different experience. The second stage was a smaller car (4 people) but peaceful and beautiful views We then took at bus back to the train station, completing the tour. Overall, Ray and the sights made this tour amazing - highly recommended!

Excellent! - Our overall experience was excellent. Our guide, Ray, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgable, kind, and fun. My father was traveling was us and required extra assistance. Ray handled the situation seamlessly. He was an outstanding guide and the tour was exceptional.

The Best thing to do while visiting Lucerne, Switzerland as a first time visitor - Jonus was an excellent tour guide. Friendly, informative and helpful. If traveling in Luzerne this is probably a must see. Traveling to the peak of Pilatus was fun, easy and views were breathtaking. Finishing the tour with boat trip from the Lake was a great way to spend a half a day in this picturesque Swiss city.

Great guide - Jonas was a wonderful guide. The people of Switzerland have not been impressive, but Jonas went above and beyond to be pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend him for any excursion. Thanks so much Jonas.

Fantastic tour! - This tour was absolutely perfect. Ray was a wonderful tour guide and the views were stunning. I would definitely do this tour again.

Lucerne! - Old world charm and historical sites fill this charming city. Visit the St Basil’s Church, the Lion of Lucern monument and take a cruise on the lake.

A terrible experience with not one but two nonexistent tours - I have no clue if this is a good tour since our tour, which we purchased three months in advance, cancelled literally 10 minutes before it was scheduled and while we waited at the meeting location in the Lucerne train station. Viator advertised the same tour scheduled 15 minutes later with a different tour operator for $54 more for us as a couple. But it was also fictional since we waited 30 minutes for another nonexistent tour guide to show up. Viator refunded us over $800 in ticket sales but honestly if you are in Lucerne you don’t need a tour guide for this itinerary. Just read the tour details and do it yourself. That’s what we did and saved hundreds of dollars.

Not good - The tour guide never showed up… if he or she did, there was zero effort to find us.. awful experience

A No Show - We paid for the tour. The tour operator changed the time of the tour the night before and then did not show up at all at the meeting place. Now Viator is not willing to reimburse for this tour cost. Don’t do it.
