Mt. Pilatus, positioned near Luzern, offers a singular and unforgettable panoramic scene with its 73 Alpine peaks and myriad lakes. During the period from November to May, the cogwheel railway and regular lake boat are off-duty. Over this duration, one can access Mt. Pilatus using the cableway. During this time, a scenic one-hour lake tour of Luzern is also an option.
