Lucknow to Ayodhya - Morning left Lucknow for Ayodhya with family. It almost took 3 hrs to reach Saryu ghat. Forgot to tell abt the road, one will enjoy the zig zag driving due to holes. I didn't enjoy it and ran over the holes as my new safari didn't let me feel the jerks. Anyways after reaching Saryu ghat, what a beauty what a sight it is. I had also gone there 8 years back and at that time it was just a normal that but today it is so developed and looks so beautiful, even the approach was also fantabulous. After enjoying at the ghar we proceeded for hanuman garhi bit road became confusing so while asking two gentlemen they said they will charge Rs 150 and services provided would be free parking (not much of concern), darshan at hanuman garhi through VIP status and then darshan at Ram lalla also without any hastle, for which I agreed. This gentle took us to some temple god knows and there I politely explained him my agenda that was to visit the 2 temples only. After we departed from that temple the gentle men disappeared. Again I was left with google mother. Reached hanuman garhi, parked my vehicle, started walking for another 500 mtrs, took the prasad and then we started walking towards the temple and whoaaaa what a long line, 84 steps to climb and with a huge crowd lined up and waiting. Now since I was with 2 kids my daughter 7 and son 2 and my senior citizen parents and ofcourse my better half and my finest friend, we decided to abort the darshan and proceed to to ram lalla darshan so walked for another kilometer and to my surprise another line. My dad and wife refused to move any further in the que. Mom was also a bit hesitant. My son was sitting on my shoulder and my daughter was with me friend who is a lady too. We would have entertained the que but the people in the que broke our power and we aborted again. On the hot road we were walking bare foot with all shradha but the improper arrangement made us to abort. Probably the day was sunday and some govt exam was also being held so a huge crowd was there. Maybe some other time and some other day we will go again.....
