Kaiserbagh Palace Complex in Lucknow was built between 1848 - 1850 by Wajid-Ali-Shah, the last Nawab of Awadh. At the center of the palace is the white stone structure named Baradari. Initially this structure was entirely covered with silver. The palace also has gilt crowns, Mughal style pavilions and European style statues throughout.
