Great View with Mediocre Food and Bewildered Service - The best thing going for this restaurant is the view of the Wisconsin River. Other than use there was only one other couple in the restaurant. Admittedly it was early about 5:00 pm and off season doe the Dells. The lone server was badly in need of training although pleasant enough. When asked about ingredients she had to go ask in the kitchen so loudly she can be heard in the dining room yelling the request. One of us had the salmon which was okay but nothing remarkable sitting on a huge portion of mushroom risotto. The caper butter sauce was about the size of an eye dropper drop. The other person had the risotto as entre. The quantity was exactly the same hugh amount as that which came with the salmon. The risottos tasty and had a good amount on mushrooms in it. As to the server, she returned to the table several times to ask if the"food is good?" She never asked if we wanted additional beverages; no bread was offered, and after bring the check we asked if desserts were available. We then received the dessert menu. No offer of coffee or after dinner drinks. There is a gush deck overlooking the river so in the summer it is probably fully occupied...for the view. Prices are fair. If looking for an upscale restaurants better options are available such as the Driftless Glen in Baraboo.
