Revving Up for Adventure

The moment I heard about the Andes Motorcycle Adventure, I knew it was a challenge I couldn’t resist. As a former professional athlete, the call of the wild and the thrill of the unknown are my bread and butter. My fiancée and I packed our gear, ready to conquer the Andes on two wheels. The promise of dual-purpose motorcycles and routes with varying difficulty levels was enough to get our adrenaline pumping.

We started our journey at the Reserva Natural Villavicencio, a breathtaking spot that set the tone for the adventure ahead. The road to Uspallata was a biker’s dream, with sweeping curves and panoramic views of native fauna and landscapes. Riding through the historic apple tree reserve, we were surrounded by the majestic Andes mountain range. The route took us between mountains and vineyards, a juxtaposition of rugged terrain and cultivated beauty. It was a ride that tested our skills and rewarded our senses.

The journey to Uspallata was nothing short of epic. Known as a mythical biker route, it took us into the high mountains, where snow-capped peaks loomed large against the sky. The final leg of our journey took us to the Cristo Redentor De Los Andes, a destination revered by bikers worldwide. The weather was on our side, allowing us to travel Route 7 without a hitch. The sense of accomplishment as we reached the summit was palpable. Standing at the top, with the world spread out below us, was a moment of pure exhilaration.

The ride back to Luján de Cuyo was a time for reflection. The Andes had tested us, thrilled us, and left us with memories that would last a lifetime.
