As someone who has spent years advocating for sustainable tourism, I was thrilled to embark on the Wine and Sustainability Tour in Luján de Cuyo. The promise of exploring wineries that prioritize eco-friendly practices was too enticing to resist. Our first stop was Bodega Krontiras, nestled in the hills, where Constantino and Silvina Krontiras have mastered the art of biodynamic winemaking.

The moment I stepped onto the vineyard, I felt a profound connection to the land. Ernesto Catena and Joanna Foster have pioneered organic and biodynamic practices in Mendoza, and their commitment to nature is evident in every bottle they produce. The winery’s original labels and artistic approach to winemaking were a delightful surprise.

As we explored the winery, I was captivated by the innovative techniques used to nurture the vines and the land. The wines we sampled were not only delicious but also a testament to the winery’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
