• Adolfo Calle 36 - Welcome to the ultimate Argentinian food walking and tasting experience, guided by a Argentinian food expert! You will embark on a three-hour journey through 34 of Argentina’s tastiest flavors, from meats to wines to to sweets to snacks to street food.

Your goal: figure out what you like and what you don’t, so you can double down on your favorite foods during your stay in Rio, and maybe even bring back some food items.

For the first hour we will make our caipirinhas in our culinary studio while we taste a dozen Brazilian foods.

Then, with your Brazilian food expert leading the way, we will visit a few different types of food establishments, so you can get an idea of what you might like in each of them:

• a snack bar (Where you will taste a few street food items)

• a juice bar (tropical fruit juices)

• a bakery (Brazilian delicatessen items)

• and “butequim” (Brazilian bar foods).

We will walk between these places, which should be almost a mile altogether.

Your food expert will provide insights into each food item’s origin, uniqueness and preparation, so you can better appreciate the flavors and ingredients.

• Drinks - We’ll pair your food with a popular drink amongst Argentinian youth: Gancia + Sprite, as well as local vermouth.
• Bar foods - You’ll start with several types of empanadas, local olives, cheeses, provoleta grilled cheese as well as fresh chimichurri sauce.
• Cuts of meat - You’ll sample five cuts of Argentinian meat: chorizo, bife de ojo, asado, entranas and bife de ancho, all paired to local Malbec wine.
• Wines - Along this experience you will taste wines from up-and-coming wineries in the Mendoza region.
• Desserts - We will finish the night exploring the various types of dulce de leche, alfajor and turron. All paired to dessert wine.
