Good trip with itinerary you seldom find elsewhere - Our driver Hery is a humorous and experienced guide. He was considerate and proactively offered rest slots, refreshments such as local kopi and fried banana during our trip. He was experienced because he seemed to know every local driver and guide on Mt Bromo and Tumpak Sewu. He always instructed the driver to stop at the nearest spot so that we can walk less. The spots he introduced for us to take photos were also very nice. For the trip, the itinerary was just right, not so tight schedule and not so relaxing. We were able to rest at the lunch restaurant for as long as we want, and still managed to arrive early at Ceremolawang village early for rest. It was really thrilled to witness the fascinating sunrise from King Kong hill. Highly recommend the trip.

Unforgettable nature experience with fine Guide and driver - We had a great time with our Guide Wildan and driver Wawan. The natural forces of both Tumpak Sewu and Bromo are very impressive to see. It was all logistically very well arranged, we had a nice meal and got very interesting information from our Guide Wildan. An experience to remember! Thank you both!

Nice trip with Didik! - Nice trip with Didik. We visited Tumpak Sewu and Mont Bromo, he was a super driver from Malang to Surabaya. Nice to talk with him, very interesting to speak about Indonesian culture and way of life. Mont Bromo trip is great but the accommodation is not super confort (cold shower).

I wouldn't bother - The waterfall day was great. I would recommend taking a car there and spending the day. There are places you can swim at the waterfall, but this tour doesn't recommend swimming shorts, or provide sufficient time to take a dip. It is fairly strenuous, the downhill descent and uphill climb proved difficult for a lot of people. Onto the day 2, mt bromo. The bit I was looking forward to the most, but unfortunately was not what I expected. A 1:30am wake-up, to drive 15 minutes by car, and then wait around for an hour and a half for a jeep to arrive. There was so so so many jeeps, and people, it was madness. Id estimate a good 400 jeeps, all heading in the same direction, all trying to overtake, undertake and beep at each other through narrow roads. When you arrive at the viewpoint at 3:30am, you then are kicked out wherever they decide to abandon the jeep, and left to your own devices for 2 hours. The viewpoint was massively over-crowded. Shoulder to shoulder with a good thousand+ tourists (mainly Chinese), all with their phones in your face. Lastly, the viewpoint is super cold. There are lots of people at the viewpoint renting coats, hats and scarfs etc. What would have been better is for the tour booking to advise 'bring warm clothing, as it gets cold'. Just feels like another way for them to make money.
