Drive to Dhampus and trek to Forest Camp

Forest Camp,Mardi Himal,Rythm Hotel - After breakfast, the trip starts with an hour’s drive to the Dhampus, a beautiful village in the Annapurna region. First, stop at the checkpoint. The trail then leads to Pothana through green forests. After walking for about 45 minutes, you arrive at Pothana a tiny village where you present your Annapurna Conservation Area Permit. The trail leads up to Deurali – where there is an awesome mountain viewpoint. If you are hungry, you can have lunch here, or you can wait for another couple of hours. The trail then leads into the forest. In March, red rhododendron flowers light up the trail. After walking 2 and a half hours, there are two little tea houses in the middle of the forest where we rest and have lunch or some tea. Enjoy the sound of birds on the trail and, if you’re lucky, sometimes we can see wild animals such as deer, bears, leopards, etc. Finally, after walking about 6 hours from Dhampus, we will arrive at Forest Camp. This is a little town with 7-8 guest houses.
