• The Grand Palace - After lunch, the tour will proceed to the Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha. This iconic city landmark should be the first stop on any visitor’s itinerary, showcasing some of the most stunning architecture in Southeast Asia. The palace, which began construction in 1782, consists of several buildings with highly ornate architectural designs.
• Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) - Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is a magnificent Royal Chapel within the same compound, housing the Emerald Buddha Image, which is highly revered by the people.
• Wat Benchamabophit (The Marble Temple) - Wat Benchamabophit, also known as the Marble Temple, was constructed during the reign of King Rama V. Its interior is beautifully adorned with lacquer and gold cross beams, representing “the perfect architecture of Thai art.” A vast collection of bronze Buddha images lines the spacious inner courtyard. The tour will conclude with a visit to a local product store.
