When a train approaches, the awnings and shop fronts are retracted from the tracks and are restored once the train has passed.
• Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - In addition to serving as a transportation route, the Damnoensaduak Canal provides farmers with sufficient water for agriculture throughout the year. Over 200 small canals were dug by local farmers to connect with it, ensuring water reaches their land. Daily, from around 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Floating Market is bustling with hundreds of vendors and buyers in small rowing boats, trading goods. The primary items bought and sold are food, fruits, and vegetables, mostly sourced from their own orchards.
