Fantastic food tour!! - Johnny and Pang arranged a fantastic tour with authentic amazing food the whole time. The range of transport with boat, tuk-tuk and bus really added to the wonderful 4 hour experience. Everything was so well organised and we highly recommend booki g this tour.

One of the best street food tours! - This was one of the best food tours our family has been on. Annie and Ahm were our tour guides and they were amazing! So friendly so kind and made our tour the best. We tried so many different foods that you can’t possibly eat it all. But it was so fun to try everything and the variety and quality of the food was some of the best we’ve had. Annie provided lots of history and interesting facts along the way. She also provided great descriptions of every place we went and each dish that we made including ingredients used and history of the foodamd restaurant. There is minimal walking. One of the highlights is that you get to take three different forms of transportation: canal boat, tuk tuk, and city bus. That made the tour especially fun. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in sampling lots of local and non-common Thai food.

Great authentic food off the beaten path - Truly a highlight of our trip to Thailand. Not only did I love the multiple types of transportation options we got to ride (Tuk Tuk, river taxi, bus), these restaurants were really off the beaten path, multi-generational, and DELICIOUS!! Our your guys were kind men and friendly. Highly recommend!

A Must Have Experience in Bangkok - The tour started 10 minutes after we reported in front of Big C Ratchadamri. The unique thing about this food tour was that we got to experience a boat ride in the canals of Bangkok, followed by a Tuk Tuk ride to the first stop, where we tried the Catfish Salad and the traditional Thai Papaya Salad aka SomTam. A quick ride in a local bus, followed by a small walk, and we reached the second spot, where we tried the Crispy Pork Belly and Grilled Duck. Both were absolutely delicious and tender. Soon, we were guided to our next stop by Bew, our guide from A Chefs Tour; where we tried the Kanom Bueang Yuan, which was a Vietnamese fusion dish with a unique flavour profile. Imagine the crispy thin Vietnamese crepes, mixed with fresh salad, making the dish crunchy, sweet and salty. Then we headed to the Nang Leong Market, where a lot of yummy dishes were waiting to be tasted. After trying out 4 different types of curries - Pineapple Curry, Penang Curry, Massaman Curry and Thai Green Curry; we walked around a bit in the market, and began tasting delicacies like the Thai version of Pho followed by a variety of Thai sweet dishes. The desserts were unique, as they had a bit of salty aftertaste, which made them addictive as well. While the Thai desserts stood out, the highlight dish was the Catfish Salad. It's not something that I would have tried on my own for sure. But thanks to Bew, I did, and it's become one of my favourite Thai delicacies. A huge shout out to Bew and Mikey from A Chef's Tour, for being the perfect hosts for an afternoon well spent.

UNBELIEVABLE!! Best food tour ever! - I have lived in Bangkok for over three years prior to this holiday and wow.. this food tour made me realise how little I really knew!!! I had heard good things about this tour & company so decided to take myself and two friends on this tour. Honestly if you’re new to Bangkok or Thailand, do this first so you know what to look for in terms of food for the rest of your trip. I’ve worked in tourism in south east Asia and done many food tours and this is by far the absolute best one I have ever done. I learnt SO much. It’s Quite mindblowing! This tour not only takes you to the most hidden amazing food gems but you actually get to experience Bangkok the way locals do as you take local transport everywhere. Anyone of any age can do it. It’s so well organised and you get to try 15 or so dishes. Make sure you don’t eat in the morning because you’ll be so full and fulfilled for the whole day and night after. I’m a picky eater so that is saying something! The guides are incredibly knowledgeable about more than just what you experience on the tour - super helpful too and accomodating. You’ll get to go to places that are decades old and see and meet the locals who own each resturant. Some of which are many generations old! Also these places are usually places you’d walk past and not even realise they are there or not be brave enough to try yourself without a local. Without a doubt though will be the best food you’ve had in Thailand. Forget the Michelin star, I won’t spoil it but the guides will teach you how to find those places that are truly popular with the locals here. A secret I never knew while living here!!! I feel like they’ve opened my eyes and now I need to spend another three years to find and try all the places I missed out on when I was living here before. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It’s so much fun and the best thing you’ll ever do!
