Must Do Food Tour - Excellent food tasting and variety. Please go on an empty stomach. There is so much food, including desert on the morning tour. Went with my spouse and 5 year old who dislikes spicy food. There was plenty of non spicy things to eat. Great tour to figure out where to get the really good local food. Tour guides were great. Even got to take a tuk tuk and bus. Would highly recommend.

An Authentic Bangkok Food Adventure with Amazing Guides - This was my second experience with *A Chef's Tour* in Bangkok, and to my surprise, I had the same guide as last time—Anni. She’s incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, putting everyone at ease right from the start. Anni takes the time to share the history behind each dish and even goes the extra mile by serving us the food herself. I also have to mention her assistant guide (I’m sorry, I’ve forgotten his name!)—he was fantastic, always running ahead to set up tables and making sure everything was ready for us. He was incredibly quick and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I love that we went off the beaten path to try authentic local cuisine rather than the typical tourist staples like Tom Yum soup or Pad Thai.

Amazing Old Siam Food Tour - Amazing guides, Pang and Kor, so friendly and attentive to all our needs. It was really cool that we could take a boat on the canal and tuk tuk ride! Food was delicious. My favorite was the handmade egg noodles with braised pork. Noodles were cooked al dente. One of my best days spent in Bangkok. Highly recommend the tour for the food, people, and experience.

The best tour - It was my fourth food tour with them, and it was my favorite. It really goes through very local places and the coolest thing is that we also try local transportation. Our guide Annie was wonderful and explained the story behind each dish. Really unavoidable.

A great food tour. 100% recommend - We actually tasted a total of 23 dishes. A very good food tour, very well organized and planned. Annie was a perfect tour leader, and her assistant Mike was key to avoid any wait during the tour. Mike was always one stop ahead to order food and prepare our table. Always the option to order more food, and have water. Really impressed. I’ve done a lot of food tours and this must be the best.

The taste of Bangkok in a single tour - The Old Siam Chef's Tour was fabulous and absolutely topped off our visit to Bangkok. We went to so many markets and tiny restaurants, jumped on a canal ferry and a tuk tuk and a bus, and ate so many varied and marvellous dishes. Our champion guides, Annie and Champion, were like a well-oiled machine, ensuring everything was organised in advance and guaranteeing that the food was fresh and fabulous. Some of the tiny restaurants where we ate had elderly chefs who had cooked for the Thai royal family. There were only four on our tour and the two other people had been on tours run by the company in several other cities and had enjoyed them all. There's no other way you could see such a range of widely-spread places with such superb quality control and get the cultural and culinary background at the same time. I'll be letting all my friends know to book the tour next time they are in Bangkok.

Extraordinary experience - Talk about a perfect experience.... The fact alone that you get 2 guides. One telling you all about the food scene while the other rushes ahead to prepare for your arrival at the next stop. It creates a perfecly smooth experience. You travel around in a variety of (local) types of transport (boat, tuktuk, ancient bus etc) that adds to the overall experience. But the food-experience is the home-run. Awesome food spots, well know and frequently visitied by locals. Places where you might not end up if you'd go on an adventure by yourself. Just an amazing experience overall. Highly recommended

Highly recommended local experience - While the tour was advertised as a small group tour we were surprised at arrival to find that we were the only ones booked in that time slot. Rather than change our booking the tour still went ahead with our guide Tao and another guide who assisted him. The tour was an excellent way of not only experiencing foods we may not have ordinarily tried, but the incorporation of local travel methods, especially the canal boat and local bus was an added treat an eye opener. All the food was amazing, the choices were spot on and our guides were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our only issue (which is not an issue at all) was the sheer amount of food served for just the two of us. A shame to see so much wasted. Tour is highly recommended, but be prepared to finish the day feeling extremely full!
