Embark on an unforgettable adventure in El Yunque Rainforest, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. Discover hidden waterparks, scenic trails, and pristine pools on a guided tour.

El Yunque National Forest - Our day will begin with a moderate to medium level hike, discussing local flora/fauna native to Puerto Rico, as well as key roles these played in our indigenous roots on the island. Hike is about 20 min into the rainforest (approx. 1 mile, or 4 laps around a track.) Upon arrival, we will set any belongings we have brought with us to the side and continue up another 10 min (.25 miles) to the natural water slide where we will be swimming. Life vests will be provided for those who need them. Once every guest goes down the water slide, we will return to where we left our belongings to enjoy some small but exciting jumps.
And finally - the cherry on top, the famous rope swing! All activities will be recorded and photos will be taken throughout your journey! Photos or it didn’t happen!
For whoever has worked up an appetite, I can provide recommendations to a local restaurant with authentic comida criolla. Please note: lunch is not included in tour pricing. Total hiking duration: 75 min.

After a picturesque drive through stunning mountains, the group will arrive at the trailhead to embark on a 25-minute hike. During the hike, the guide will discuss the flora, fauna, rainforest ecosystem, and history. (Valuables can be safely stored in our tour vehicles.)
The second part of the experience includes optional but highly recommended water activities, such as a natural volcanic slide, rock jumps of various heights, and a rope swing! Photos and videos will be provided throughout the journey, so there’s no need to bring your own.
El Yunque welcomes approximately 1.5 million visitors annually. While the flow of tourists to the Caribbean’s most visited island is beyond our control during peak times, private excursions are available for those seeking a more secluded experience.
