- El Yunque National Forest - Come and visit the only Tropical Rainforest in the U.S Forest System! We will begin this unique tour to the “El Yunque Rainforest”, by picking you up early at your hotel. From there we will embark in a drive through the historic “route 66” until our arrival to “Las tinajas trail”. This is where the adventure begins with a 20 minutes’ walk to our first stop in one of the most pristine water river and waterfall. During our hike, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of el “ Yunque” linked to the Taino’s, but also explore the unique ecosystem of this forest that is home to multiple endemic species such as the Puertorican parrot.
Be aware this a muddy tour, be prepared to get wet and dirty! But more than that be prepared to a real connecting experience with yourself, the nature and the best that Puerto Rico has to offer!

Great tour of el yunque - Jean and Patricia were great! Very attentive, even providing one on one help to participants who were struggling a bit with the hiking. Wear sneakers and bathing suits under your hiking clothes. The group was much smaller than other tours we saw - two tour guides for 11 participants, so they were able to be much more attentive than the larger tours. Definitely recommend

MUST book!! - This experience was more than I expected the tour guide is amazing and makes you feel welcome very informative and fun!! It’s a MUST to book this excursion. I will be back with my family 🙌

One of the best tours I have ever experienced. - Jean and Enrique were phenomenal.
The tour was exactly as described, and exactly as they promised. We were picked up promptly at 6:45, from the second we entered the van we knew it was gong to be a fun day. John explained what to expect while we were driving. On the way, we stoped at a small roadside store/stand, where we were able to purchase snacks and use the restroom if need be. Upon arriving at the forest, Jean and Enrique went over every detail of the hike and adventures ahead. They provided each of us with life vest, on the hike one was was always leading and the other following us. John took amazing photos the entire time, most of the time you didn't know he was even doing doing so. The great part about this small group tour, they push you out of your comfort zone. At no point did they endanger anyone, they took the time to make you feel at ease with whatever the next challenge was going to be. When we ended the tour back at the "base camp", we had the opportunity to jump off the rocks and use the rope swings. John was off cutting all sorts of fresh fruits for us to enjoy afterwards, and put out quite display on a large rock. From the pineapples to the papaya it was exactly what we all needed after a few hours of hiking, swimming, falling, and sliding.

Fun and muddy hike - The tour was a lot of fun! Our guides, John and Enrique, were both great and made the trip memorable. Definitely be ready to have wet shoes and get muddy.

PR MUST DO - What an amazing tour. Picked up, grabbed a quick breakfast smoothie & went to tour. The hike was phenomenal, views were stunning & the water felt amazing. The entire experience start to finish was topped off by our tour guide Jean!!! From our transportation, clear guided instructions, great photography skills, he did an amazing job (@tourstodopr).

Jean is the Best!! - Our experience exploring El Yunque Rainforest was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to our incredible tour guide. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our group had a memorable and enriching adventure.
Their knowledge of the rainforest was truly impressive. They shared fascinating details about the unique flora and fauna, the history of the area, and the cultural significance of this natural treasure. Hiking through rainforest - Wonderful trip! Catered to small group needs. Jean (pronounced John) did a great job leading the group through an easy hike for first 20 minutes to a waterfall and then to 15 minute moderate hike with natural water slide. Go back to original spot for fresh fresh fruit. Option cliff jumping and rope swing. Bring hiking shoes that can be completely submerged in water and mud. Bathing suit under hiking clothes that also can get wet. Enjoy!
