Shenandoah River Outfitters provides self-guided kayak excursions along the picturesque South Fork of the Shenandoah near Luray, Virginia. Our kayak rentals come with paddles, life jackets, round-trip transportation to the river, a safety video, a map, and basic instructions. The trip covers 8 miles and typically takes 3 to 4 hours, making it suitable for most beginners (ages 9 to 75). For those with some experience, we also offer a white water trip.
