Khor Virap should not be missed - Khor Virap should not be missed! The location with Mount Ararat in the background is just unreal. Going down into the underground prison where Gregory the Illuminator was held was a powerful experience. I want to thank our guide Arev for all the information, for her patience to answer all our questions and also for the taken pictures. Also I want to thank our driver Ararat for getting us there and keeping us cool. Definitely a must-see when visiting Armenia, but please go in the morning as it can get quite hot and crowded!

Enjoying mountain Ararat and Khor Virap monastery - The monastery was very nice and we took many photos of Ararat mountain. Our guide Arev was very helpful giving us a lot of information about the surroundings, the monastery and the country-side life. She really inspires through her passion of sharing the armenian culture. Our driver Ararat (yep, same name as the mountain) did a terrific job of keeping us cool during the drive to and from the monastery. Great team for the tour!

A wonderful way to spend the morning overlooking Ararat - Beautiful views and a peaceful monastery. The advantage of leaving early is that there are no groups. Thanks to our driver Zaven for his punctuality and very comfortable ride.

Marco the driver is a very nice guy who was also very knowledgeable. Showed me some great spots at get pictures of Khor Virap and Mt. Ararat. Highly recommended this tour!!!
