- Khor Virap - Khor Virap is an Armenian monastery established in 642, with its name translating to “deep hole” in Armenian. It is a revered site of the Armenian Apostolic Church and a popular pilgrimage destination. Notably, it was constructed on the site of a former royal prison where Gregory the Illuminator, the patron saint and first official leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church, was imprisoned for 13 years by the Armenian king. - T’rchuneri (Bird) Cave - Also known as Areni Cave, Bird Cave is situated near the Gnishik tributary of the Arpa River, at a height of 30 meters. It is carved into the rock and consists of interconnected spaces with narrow passages. The cave is accessible to visitors even during holidays in Armenia. Since 2007, archaeological research has uncovered materials dating back to 4200-3500 BC, including pottery, plant remains, apricot and grape seeds, woven reed items, textiles, and women’s jewelry. A wine production site, believed to be the world’s oldest winery, was discovered here, with a history of 5000-5500 years. The oldest known shoe, filled with grass to maintain its shape, was also found, dating back 5637-5387 years.

On the left bank of the Vorotan River, basalt lava flows have solidified to form an 18-meter-high ledge from which the waterfall cascades. The waterfall is open to visitors from March 15 to November 15, until 5:00 pm.
- Tatev Monastery - Tatev Monastery is a gem of Armenian medieval architecture, situated in southern Armenia in the Syunik province, 315 km from Yerevan and 30 km from Goris, on the right bank of the Vorotan River near the village of Tatev. Built between the 9th and 13th centuries, it was consecrated in honor of St. Eustathius, a disciple of the Apostle Thaddeus, who preached Christianity and was martyred for his faith.
