- Luss - 40 minutes after leaving Glasgow our first stop is this very pretty village on the western shore of Loch Lomond. Walk past the sandstone and slate cottages to the pier with it’s wonderful views across to Ben Lomond and expansive loch views. Luss Graveyard has graves dating back to 600AD/ 700AD, there is also a Viking grave from 1250AD, complete with a Viking Hogback Stone.
