Balloon Ride, Luxor West Bank Tour & Navigation

Qurna Village - Begin around 5:00 am with a pick-up for an incredible 30 to 45-minute Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor. Enjoy an aerial view of the landscape and famous landmarks as the sunrise illuminates the sky over the great temples and mountains below.

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis, visiting the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs carved their tombs in the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen to her fascinating story and learn how she ruled as a sole Pharaoh.

Colossi of Memnon - Conclude your West Bank tour with a photo stop at the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return to the cruise by noon for lunch. Begin sailing down the River Nile, enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck, cross Esna Lock, and overnight in Edfu.

Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple - Aswan

Temple of Horus - After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise and relax on the deck, admiring the unique landscape and scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Enjoy lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Temple of Kom Ombo - In the late afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise for dinner, followed by a folkloric party hosted by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Abu Simbel Trip & Nubian Village

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Around 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for a trip to Abu Simbel (sharing a small group) to visit the impressive rock-cut temples built for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Return to the cruise by noon for lunch and prepare for a fantastic trip to the Nubian Village.

Nubian Village - At around 3:30 pm, you will be picked up and taken down to the Nile to board a motorboat. Sail slowly to the Nubian Village on Soheil Island, enjoy a welcome drink at a Nubian family’s house, learn about their customs, and walk around the village with your guide. Finish by sunset, enjoy the breeze, and watch the birds as you return to your cruise. Dinner and a folkloric Nubian show will follow. Overnight in Aswan.

Aswan Tour (Philae Temple and High Dam) & Departure Transfer

Aswan High Dam - After breakfast, check out and explore the highlights of Aswan with your guide. Learn about the Nubian immigration and visit the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from floods and generate electricity.

Temple of Philae - Continue to the Graeco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, accessible by a small motorboat. Later, you will be transferred to your Aswan hotel, airport, or railway station.
