• Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then proceed to visit the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty 1490-1469 B.C the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.
• Colossi of Memnon - After this, we will proceed to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for nearly 3,400 years. Here, you will have the opportunity to capture some memorable photographs of these iconic monuments. The statues, which once guarded the entrance to Amenhotep’s mortuary temple, are steeped in history and offer a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian civilization.
• Valley of the Queens - Next, proceed to visit the magnificent Valley of the Queens, an enchanting burial site where the tombs of the royal wives and children of the pharaohs are located. Among these, you will find the tomb of the Great Queen Nefertari, renowned for its stunningly preserved wall paintings and elaborate decorations. This valley, often referred to as “the place of beauty,” offers a deep dive into the rich history and artistry of ancient Egypt, providing a remarkable experience that vividly illustrates the reverence and honor bestowed upon the queens of this ancient civilization.
• Temple of Karnak - We now journey to the East Bank in Luxor. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
• Luxor Temple - End your tour with a visit to the beautiful Temple of Luxor, built by Amenhotep III during the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. After completing your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor or to Luxor International Airport.
