Full day East & West Bank tour of Luxor - My guide Ahmed Mohsen was amazing guy, he was punctual and showed me places around and guided me which place to be better to go just to avoid the crowds. Overall the whole day was great and productive, I would highly recommend him to people.

It was fun. - I felt that having a guide was a distraction from pure emotion, so I only gave it to the driver. They just drop me off at each of the ruins, and they don't follow me inside, so it was easy. The waiting time of the driver will be determined by consultation on a case-by-case basis. I made it an hour-long wait for most of them. The Valley of the Kings is wide and I wanted to see it longer, so I made it two hours. If I was running late, I contacted them via whatsapp. They were very flexible, so I gave them tips. It was very good.

Amazing tour! - Amazing tour. Achraf was an incredible guide with such vast knowledge about Egyptian history. He was extremely kind and made the experience one of the best we’ve had. Hassan the driver was great too. Thank you both so much for making our trip to Luxor so special.

Family private tour with amazing guide - As a family of four, with two 9 year olds we thoroughly enjoyed this tour with our guide Ahmed Kassem. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to all our requests and especially considerate of the children. We saw everything included as advertised with an appropriate length of time dedicated. Having a native language guide was very convenient and helped. This private tour is highly recommended for those who are wishing to see it all on a limited time frame as we felt we didn’t miss out on anything in beautiful Luxor. We had a driver who accompanied us for the day which made transiting and access to all the attractions extremely easy and all of our tickets were pre purchased by our guide. Thankyou Ahmed - we will be recommending your expertise to our friends and family for when they visit Egypt

Great Experience and Guide, but Lunch Could Improve - This review is for the package that included a car, guide, entry fees, and lunch. The guide and driver arrived 10 minutes early and kindly waited for us. The driver was very polite and professional throughout the day. Our guide, Omar, was a proud Egyptian who shared a wealth of knowledge during the drive and at each site. At Karnak Temple, he walked with us, explained the history, and pointed out significant features. Next, we visited the Valley of the Kings, where we entered three chambers. Omar encouraged us to explore freely and ask any questions afterward. I do wish he had accompanied us inside, as I had several questions that would have been easier to ask on the spot, though he did answer the questions I remembered later. At Hatshepsut Temple, he provided explanation of its history during the drive, and once there, he again gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace. Lunch followed, which is the reason I’m giving a 4-star rating. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly, but unfortunately, the food quality could have been better—the chicken thighs were quite dry and tasted reheated rather than freshly cooked. We did, however, enjoy a relaxed meal with ample time and even ordered coffee (for an extra charge). Our final stop was Luxor Temple, where Omar accompanied us again, offering insights and historical context. At every site, he allowed us plenty of time—about 25–30 minutes—to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with excellent organization and an informative guide; only the lunch fell short of expectations.

Meh tour - My guide was friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly for a solo female traveller. I had a difficult time understanding him at some parts, so the storytelling wasn’t as engaging. I was taken to 3 shopping stops that were not requested. We stopped at an essential oil place, a papyrus place and an alabaster shop. They were all very good sales peoples but I definitely overpaid, cause I trusted my guide.I was disappointed to search up the shops afterwards, and read bad reviews from customers like me that had felt scammed. Do not buy anything from your tour guide stops. The pressure is intense, but stay strong. Your guides get commission from the shops they take you to and it’s much much cheaper at Khan el Khalil. It was a fine tour, and a long day, but overall average experience.
