- Temple of Karnak - At approximately 5:00 a.m., your tour guide will pick you up in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus. A knowledgeable German-speaking Egyptologist will join the group. The journey to Luxor takes about 4 hours, passing through the Nile valley with views of fields and farmers’ homes. This excursion is conducted in a small group, with a maximum of 8 participants. Your guide will be available throughout the trip to answer any questions. Upon arrival in Luxor, our first stop will be the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, located on the eastern bank of the Nile. One of the most significant areas of the temple is the large columned hall. The complex is divided into three walled sections: the Amun area (ancient Egyptian Ipet-sut, “place of election”), the Month area, and the Courage area. The oldest visible remains of the temple date back to the 12th dynasty under Sesostris. The temple complex was expanded and rebuilt multiple times until the Roman Empire. Notable among the ruins are the temples of Amun-Re with its ten pylons. You will also see the sacred lake, measuring 120 × 77 meters, located south of the central temple building and fed by groundwater. Admire the large columned hall, statues, pylons, and obelisks.
- Valley of the Kings - After lunch, we will drive to the Valley of the Kings, situated about 5 kilometers northwest of Luxor. In ancient Egypt, the Valley of the Kings was known as the “Sechet-aat large field.” The valley contains over 70 tombs carved into the rock, primarily the tombs of rulers from the New Kingdom (circa 1550 to 1069 BC) of the 18th to 20th dynasties. To protect the mummies, they were relocated in the 22nd dynasty and hidden in other tombs. In 1922, the largely intact tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered. Systematic exploration and excavation of the tombs began with Napoleon’s expedition to Egypt. The Valley of the Kings is a major tourist attraction in Egypt. Only a portion of the tombs is open to visitors, as some are closed for conservation. Since December 2009, photography and filming have been prohibited, but since 2018, photography without flash is allowed with the purchase of a photo permit for around 15 euros.
- Colossi of Memnon - After visiting the Karnak temple complex, we will proceed to the famous Colossi of Memnon. Known in Arabic as “el-Colossat or es-Salomat,” these two adjacent statues date back to the 14th century and depict King Amenophis III seated on a throne, facing the Nile. The statues stand approximately 18 meters high, including the base.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Our final stop will be the terrace temple complex of Hatshepsut. Hatshepsut, an ancient Egyptian queen of the 18th dynasty, reigned from 1479 to 1458 BC. Her spouse was Thutmoses II. The name Hatshepsut means “The first of the noble women who embraced Amun.” The entire temple is constructed of limestone and is the best-preserved temple on the west bank in Thebes. At around 4:00 p.m., we will begin our return journey, bringing you back to your hotel with wonderful and memorable experiences.

Out Egypt highlight: 3 days tour Hurghada to Luxor temples with the best tour guide Ebram Sobhy! - Beyond expectations! This tour was the highlight of our trip to Egypt. We came to Soma bay from Europe and we did not plan the tour before coming to Egypt – it was an absolutely incredible experience (we were a bit worried about having to pay in cash all in advance but it was totally worth it ).
The entire journey was seamless: Our driver was fantastic— efficient, and truly a master of Egyptian roads! 🚗 Our tour guide Ebram Sobhy, is a Doctor in Egyptology made our tour a walk to the past. His deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and insider secrets about the temples transformed each visit into a journey through time. He not only shared fascinating historical insights but also added humor and local perspectives, making the experience both enriching and entertaining.
We had the chance to dine at authentic local spots, immersing ourselves in the culture through its flavors and traditions. The itinerary was perfectly balanced—fully packed with incredible sites, yet with moments to relax and soak in both ancient and modern Egypt.
Highlights:
✔️ Dendera and Abydos temples – Hidden gems filled with breathtaking carvings and mystical energy.
✔️ Karnak and the royal tombs – A deep dive into Egypt’s glorious past, including the legendary Tutankhamun’s tomb.
✔️ Hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings – Watching the sunrise over the Nile was simply breathtaking! 🎈
We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt. If you want a truly unforgettable experience, ask for Ebram Sobhy as your guide—he will make history come alive before your eyes!

Valley of the Kings - We had a wonderful day trip to the Valley of the Kings. The preparation and contact before the trip went smoothly . Our drivers were super nice and helpful. The guide Abdelrahim was very accomplished. He told us great stories about the attractions, guided us past the tourist streams and always told us about the country. Lunch and location were well chosen, right on the Nile. Our children (8,13,15) and us enjoyed the excursion.

10 stars would be appropriate. An unforgettable day in Luxor - After a punctual pickup (4:45am) and a reunion with our drivers Walid and Hilal, with whom we were already in Cairo, we headed to Luxor.
Between Qina and Luxor, Hilal told us a lot about the area we drove through and told us what life was like in the countryside. In Luxor, we met our guide Ishmael at Karnak Temple around 10:00 a.m., who then provided us with all the important information throughout the day. He was very charming and you could tell he enjoyed his job. After the meal we took a boat that was just for us, about 30 minutes across the Nill. Again, we were provided with many interesting facts about the surrounding area.
On the way to Hatshepsut Temple we made a short photo stop at the Memnon Colossi, again Ishmael never missed an opportunity to provide us with information. After visiting Hatshepsut Temple and Valley of Kings, there was time to say goodbye. At 3.30 p.m. we then made our way back to Hurghada. Hilal told us many more things on the way back and provided us with fresh sugarcane juice (very delicious) and snacks. At 20:00 we arrived back at the hotel healthy thanks to the excellent driving skills of the two.
The German by Ishmael and Hilal is really world class, you could follow all the explanations wonderfully. We were very happy with the great trip!

Great mix of nature, archaeology and local history - Both the driver Carlos and the guide Mohammed were very friendly, accommodating, relaxed and were happy to answer questions in detail.
Driving through the desert and the Nile Valley we felt safe and could gain many impressions.
The sequence of sights was designed to avoid too large a crowd of tourists.
Lunch was very delicious and rich.

Great trip to Luxor - The trip with Obi to Luxor to Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings was really great. There were only four of us on the road with him and he took a lot of time with everything, explained a lot and was very funny. Me and my girlfriend and a friendly couple can only recommend him 😊

3 days trip to Dendera, Luxor Abydos. Unforgettable!! - My partner did an 3 days getaway and we are so happy to have chosen this trip with Zakharious! Coming from Europe we are not used to pay in cash and felt a bit cautious at the beginning, but we had no reasons to worry (almost every payment in Egypt is made in cash): The treatment from beginning to end was wonderful, every visit, hotel and pickups coordinated. Our driver Carlos gave us a great treatment, thank you so much! The highlight was our wonderful guide Dr. Ebraam Sobhy, expert Egyptologist who had the generosity to share his passion with us these three days and accompany our visits with his great energy. We feel so honoured we could be in such wonderful company!!
About the trip, it is difficult choosing the highlight: the Dendera temples, the valley of the kings and Karnak temple stand at the top for me. Also the hot ballon sunrise ride flying over the valleys of kings and queens. Absolutely recommendable!
