Great trip to Luxor - We had booked a two day trip from El Quseir to Luxor. Unfortunately, the trip starts very early, but this is normal. Our driver Carlos spoke very good English and drove us in a car to Luxor, cold drinks included. There we boarded our guide Mohammad Arman, who spoke great German and entertained us excellently with his humor and his knowledge of history. The program included Karnak, a short boat tour on the Nile, the Luxor temple at night, the next morning Hatshepsut temple and Valley of the Kings, and at the end the Memnon Colossi. NONE of the usual Nippes stores were visited, where cheap goods are imposed on you at inflated prices. Nevertheless, the trip was one of the cheapest. The two were always friendly, helpful and flexible, highly recommended. The only small minus is that you had to pay cash and in euros, so we had to scrape together the money and borrow it from other tourists. But if you already plan this on holiday, it should not be a problem.

Fantastic 2-Day Tour to Luxor - With my 7. Visiting Luxor I put together a tour myself and asked Zakharious Tours if this tour is so feasible. This was affirmed. I had chosen destinations that are not so frequently visited by tourists (e.g. Khonsu Temple and Opet Temple in Karnak or the Tomb of Aye II in the West Valley of the Valley of the Kings). Everything regarding planning, hotel in Luxor, lunch etc. was excellently organized. The team at Zakharious Tours always answered my questions kindly and the whole was planned Tour 1A. So much for organizing before the trip. Now the execution. I was picked up by my driver at the hotel on Makadi Bay at 5am. I can anticipate it. The young man (I unfortunately forgot his actions) was always helpful, punctual and friendly. I could count on him the whole trip. In Luxor, my tour guide joined us. His first name is Ismail. After a short meeting I was allowed to explain my wishes. He had the rough plan of what I wanted to see. I can be brief. The whole tour was done as I had planned. All wishes were fulfilled. and more. Through the competent knowledge of Ismail I learned much more. He often pointed out things I probably wouldn't have seen. Also, Ismail was nice, friendly and always helpful. Lucky for me to have him with me. Finally, I would like to thank Zakharious Tour again. Special thanks go to my two protectors Ismail and the driver. I think I'll be able to go on a trip with Zakharious Tours again next year. It would be nice to get the same crew.

Fantastic excursion, perfect organization, great guide - In mid-August 2024 we made the private trip to Luxor. Communication in advance via email and Whatsapp was very pleasant, fast and straightforward. On the day of the excursion we were picked up in the morning on time to the minute at 5:00 by two friendly drivers at our hotel in Soma Bay. In a modern and well-kept 12-seater minibus, we had plenty of space as a family of four and were able to spend the first part of the trip still comfortably dozing. Water and soft drinks were always available in a cooler on board. Even the drive through the desert at sunrise is very impressive. From Qina at the latest, there are interesting insights into Egyptian everyday life away from the tourist centers and resorts on the Red Sea – an impressive contrast. After almost 4 hours we reached Luxor and our German speaking guide and Egyptologist Naschaat got on board. Naschaat speaks perfect German and has great knowledge and a pleasant sense of humor. So it was actually clear after just a few minutes that this would be a fun day. The first stop was the Karnak Temple. With Naschaat we easily moved outside larger groups here and at all further stops and he imparted knowledge and details to us without overloading it. In this way, our teenage sons remained interested throughout the day. Afterwards, we decided to have an early lunch to continue to act “countercyclically” and avoid larger tour groups. After crossing the Nile by motorboat, the program included the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut. It should also be mentioned that Naschaat has suggested optional, individual adjustments to the stations in between. Since it was our first visit to Luxor, we stuck to the classic program. This was crowned by a visit to the Valley of the Kings. Here, too, our wishes were always met, for example with a view to visiting Tutankhamun's tomb. Then we started the return journey to Soma Bay (the drivers have now taken turns). Here is another clear advantage of a private, exclusive tour: Since no other stations had to be approached, we were already back at the hotel around 6 pm. Conclusion: An all-round successful, perfectly organized, very interesting and above all impressive day. Super guide in Luxor, nice and competent drivers – you felt very well looked after and safe at all times. 100% recommendation.

Impressive and informative excursion away from mass tourism - After a very straightforward and spontaneous Booking Referral to Zakharious via WhatsApp we were picked up by Carlos on time at 5am. Carlos is the best driver! On the way to Luxor Carlos told us a bit about the country and people and we could always ask questions about all topics. When we arrived in Luxor, our guide Nasch received us and we visited the Karnak temple first. We were there with the first visitors and accordingly had the temple almost to ourselves. Nasch has an incredible knowledge of history and culture and explained everything to us lively and exciting. Since the Hatshepsut temple included in the program is only replica according to Nasch and not very worth seeing, he showed us the Kurna temple. A very beautiful, impressive and worth seeing temple! Again, every question was answered. Then we went to the Valley of the Kings and visited 3 beautiful tombs there. Finally we did a Nile cruise where we were alone on the boat and could admire Luxor from the water. Nasch was always willing to change the plan for us and adapt it flexibly for us. Overall, it was a very impressive and informative excursion where we got to know a lot about the people and the culture, away from mass tourism. Carlos drove us home safely afterwards. A highly recommended tour!

Unforgettable trip to Luxor! - We booked a private excursion from Safaga to Luxor. Super punctual we were picked up at 4.40 am by our driver Hilal. He is an excellent driver and on the way, he has already told us a lot about the country. He spoke good German. We were allowed to help ourselves to soft drinks, so the ride passed like in flight. Nash joined our guide in Luxor. He speaks flawless German and is incredibly likeable. He showed us the sights. It was so impressive! We were always there before the other tourists because Nash changed the tour schedule. So we were in the Valley of the Kings at the beginning, which was perfect in the heat. It was incredibly interesting and educational.Nash is a university professor, he even read hieroglyphics to us. We could always ask questions and he explained a lot about Egyptian history. Our 11-year-old son also loved it. Lunch at the restaurant was also great. Furthermore, we took a boat trip on the Nile. Nash invited us for tea and coffee. Finally we went to the Karnak temple, where there was hardly anything going on, because of the great planning. We have never had such a great guide like Nash!!!! Just great!!!! Then we went back to the hotel. Our driver Hilal even gave us mangoes that were very delicious. We say thank you very much! It has been an unforgettable trip. When we are back in Egypt, we will make excursions only with Zakharious Tours planen!

Informative but uncomfortable seats - Very informative. We were picked up 10 minutes late. Communication in advance very good via WhatsApp. There were six of us in the minibus. Also the guide was very good, told a lot, a bit quick sometimes. 1 star deduction as the seats on the bus were very uncomfortable. Leg spacing very small. At 5'4" I couldn't sit properly without my knees lining up in front
