Awesome - Unique experience on a Felucca. Great crew. Very relaxing experience on the water, though the ride depends on the wind.

Great Solo Experience! - I spent 3 days in Luxor and schedule this felucca ride to experience the local sites from the Nile perspective. My guide met me at my hotel that was just across the street from where the boat was moored. He and his boat captain were very professional, telling me many things about the Nile and the city along the journey. As a single female traveler, I never felt uncomfortable at any time and very much enjoyed seeing the banana farm. Very relaxing ending to this wonderful trip!

Wonderful experience! - We enjoyed a brilliant evening cruise on the Nile in a felucca; one of the highlights of our holiday. Our tour guide, Hesham Hamd Mohamed, was superb. Hesham was both friendly and knowledgable, as were the two crew members onboard. The trip included a stop at Banana Island where we enjoyed tasting the sweet bananas. Seeing the sun set over the Nile was exceptionally memorable too.

Great Company! - Our group of 4 were very disappointed when are ride was cancelled due to high winds and the decision it would not be safe. Thank you! Not only was it a good decision but this company and Viator which was the booking agent refunded our full fee with absolutely no hassle. Thank you Khaled!

Casual, Relaxing and Unique - This was a great way to end a busy day exploring. We were picked up from our accommodation in a shuttle and taken to our boat, which took us on a lovely cruise to the Banana Plantation. We got to explore the grounds, see not only banana plants but molokhia, corn, papaya. At the end of the walk around the grounds, we sat at the restaurant and DEVOURED banana after banana and had a casual chat before being taken back on the boat. We were actually dropped to where we were staying - Achti Resort - which is located on the Nile so we didn’t need the shuttle back!

Captain Tyson from Egypt .Luxor. - Naec tarp I wish you would be in Luxor to go to the banks of the Nile to sail to Banana Island this trip takes 2 hours. Another trip is to go somewhere for fishing from the Nile and then offer you a lunch. There is a trip to Aswan by boat sail

Felucca ride with Hani - We have had a great afternoon. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the boat where we were pulled along by another boat because there was no wind to drive the felucca. We arrived at banana island and had a short walk around before being given some delicious bananas to eat. We were able to take away any from our basket that we didn’t eat. I think we had 4 each and took 2 with us! We went back on the Nile and sat to watch the sun set. Thank you to our guide Hani, he was a lot of fun and made the trip very enjoyable.

Nile Felucca ride at sunset - I enjoyed the Nile river cruise with Mahmoud earlier today. It would appear that I was lucky has there was some wind today which made it even more pleasurable. Must be the 3 crickets some new friend gave me yesterday. Mahmoud was a good guide explaining some of the local history and I shared my pictures of all the obelisks I saw in Rome for him to explain the meaning to me. Now the history of the romans in Egypt during that period is all taking shape in my mind. The only thing I would recommend differently is the serpentine ( spelling ) island. There is little value of seeing 2 crocodiles caged up and would be better for these animals to be send back to the wild of Lake Naser. The latter not a reflection of this tour because everyone stops there for a quick visit. Thank you for the river Nile cruise and Mahmoud

Sunset was pretty and fruit delicious - So I was under the assumption we would be riding a boat similar to what the ancient egyptians rode. It's just your standard sailboat. That is if there is enough wind for it. We had no wind that day, so we took a motor boat instead. Which at first I was a little disgruntle then I saw stranded feluccas/sailboats being towed by motorboats! The farm was nothing special, but the fruit was pretty delicious as well as the sunset over the Nile was gorgeous.

Great trip - Wonderful. This trip was well organised by our guide. It was a very relaxing trip down the Nile conducted by two Egyptian men who sailed the Felucca and made tea while we took in the sights of life on the river banks and were told about the history of Egypt by our guide. At Banana Island we had a small walk and sat in a cafe eating banana's from the Island. We could have done with a longer walk. We saw all sorts of life going by on the island including a crocodile in a cage!! On our way back there was not enough wind and so we were towed, which was fun and we drank more tea, we were then taken back to our hotel. Perfect first trip out at sunset after the day travelling the day before. The guide was very informative, tips needed.
