It has been known since antiquity,the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) (2)The tomb of Ramses1 It was discovered by Giovanni Battista Belzoni. It consists of a short entrance corridor and the burial chamber containing the king’s sarcophagus, which is decorated with drawings of Ramses I with a number of deities.
