Fantastic trip on the west bank - We had a really nice trip with a host of exciting experiences. Prior to the trip we had for an additional amount changed to a full-day tour with a program composed according to our wishes. Concrete plans were agreed with our skilled guide over the course of the day. He was competent and told well about all places, and he found out the absolute best places for us to visit based on our preferences. Good and clean car, and our driver drove well and responsibly, and was always on the spot when we were to be picked up.. It was exactly the experience we wanted.

Very good experience - We had a very good experience. The guide was attentive and knowledgeable. The pick up was sufficiently on time. The car had seatbelts.

I can only recommend this trip - Together with my sister, we finally went to Luxor. We have been to Egypt more than 10 times, but for the first time Luxor. Really something you must have seen in Egypt. The best thing was definitely our guide. It was so nice to finally meet a female guide! It was a long day, but really worth every second. Also liked that our guide indicated options (e.g. boat ride on the Nile, we could choose what we ordered at restaurant, if we wanted to visit Tutankhamun's tomb,...) and could also give her own opinion about it. Very experienced lady and really sweet! Wish her only the best!

A day well spent! - We had an amazing time exploring Luxor with our tour guide Samah, she was very knowledgeable in the local area as well as historic sites. She took us to great restaurants and shopping. She was very fun to be around. She showed us around the local shops, had a traditional lunch with a stunning view and made sure that we boarded our train before she waved goodbye to us! The best experience and well organised for the timeframe we had!

Enjoyable trip but guide not essential - There was a driver and a guide. The car was nice. The guide’s english was very good. He told us more than once that we have time and if we need to see something else or go somewhere to have lunch we can easily do it. We visited all the things listed here. But to be honest we don’t think if the guide is necessary here. Just a car with a driver probably is enough. That’s because the guide can’t go inside the tombs. So most of the time he was waiting outside. If you spend some time on research about these tombs we think that you can save some money on the guide. In the middle of the trip we visited also one place that wasn’t in our trip plan and we think it wasn’t necessary. The guide took us to the place with stone figures and souvenirs. The owner of the place explained the process of creating the items and showed us a shop-like area without any visible prices. He repeatedly emphasized that the prices were excellent and that everything was “original” and handmade. However, the prices were quite high—much more expensive than similar items available on the street. We felt like he was really pushing us to buy something. We told him multiple times that we are not interested but he still encouraged us with good prices. We didn’t buy anything and he was not really happy about that. At the end, the trip was good but nothing special.

East bank + West Bank, two days in Luxor - The cars are clean. The guide and driver always arrive on time and tailor the trip according to your interests and needs. If you are traveling solo and a female, ask for Samah. She is great!
