Luxor - Our company tour agent will greet you at Luxor airport or train station upon your arrival. You’ll then proceed to the boat for check-in at 11:00 AM to receive your cabin. After lunch, you’ll visit the eastern bank of Luxor to see the Temple of Luxor. day 3
Luxor - After lunch, you’ll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. The name “Kom Ombo” is derived from two parts: “Kom,” meaning hill, and “Ambo,” which comes from “Anbu” or “Nebo,” meaning gold. This region controlled the roads leading to gold mines and was known as “Ba-Sobek” in Egyptian texts, meaning the headquarters of Sobek worship since pre-dynastic times. Overlooking the eastern bank of the Nile, Kom Ombo Temple is situated atop a high hill. The temple’s foundation dates back to the period of Ptolemy VI, with construction and engravings continuing after the reign of King Ptolemy XIII. Return to your port afterward.
day 4
Aswan - After breakfast, enjoy exploring the High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk with your historical guide.
day 5
Aswan - We’ll take you to the Abu Simbel temples early in the morning. The guide will discuss the temples, which are located on the west side of Lake Nasser, 230 km southwest of Aswan. These temples are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Nubian Monuments. Originally constructed during the reign of Ramses II in the 13th century BC, the temples were relocated from the mountainside. The Great Temple is dedicated to Ramses II himself, while the smaller temple is known as Abu Simbel Al Sagheer. Return to the boat for lunch.
