Amazing Full Day Tour - Amazing full day tour from Luxor to Aswan! All of the temples are full of so much history and so well preserved. Our guide Ahmed Omar was also great - full of knowledge, so kind, welcoming, and a pleasure to spend the day with. We met him as our guide for our first day in Luxor and enjoyed his company so much that we requested him as our guide for the remainder of our tours, and Emo Tours was able to accommodate our request. Highly recommend this tour and Ahmed!

Wow, what a trip - This very full day exposed me to amazing temples which showcase unique aspects of Egyptian history. The mummified crocodiles were a first for me. And seeing the Nile Dams with the immense lake took my breath away. I experienced a long list of new facts and sights this day.

Excellent way to see some highlights of Aswan - Shady and Mustafa were so kind and attentive. Ensuring that my mother, sister and I had a great experience! Mustafa had us laughing through all of the beautiful temples, ensuring that we were able to see some of the highlighs of Aswan and the nubian village, take amazing pictures and be well informed of their history. As far as safety is conscerned, the multiple checkpoints to Aswan along with Shady's excellent driving skills and awareness made us feel safe and secure (just ensure that if you do any add-ons, watch the time as you may want to avoid getting back to Luxor too late at night). Also, I wanted to mention that my mother has a phobia of water and our driver shady took the time to calm her and get her through the Philae Temple boat ride. It's this attention to care and detail that made us feel safe as three female travelers from Luxor to Aswan, I would definately recommend this tour (see if you can get Shady as a driver).

Tour - We took this tour on December 29, 2019. We like our guide Mohamed Adel. He is very professional, polite, and knowledgeably. His English is very good and easy to understand. We give him a ‘high five’ for being our tour guide.

Perfect Day, perfect price - After the booking I got a problem with the pickup side, I was not able to give my address. But the company got a 24 hours phone service on English, where I got good and fast help. Made a very good impression even on German standards.
The trip has a very good price for what you get.
I got my personal guide Owf who spoke good English and knows everything about the things on the way, he took good care of me.
I also felt very safe with my driver Waleed, we drove in a nice car, European standard, with ac.
If you are short on time and want to visit aswan from luxor in a day trip this is perfect.
The included dinner is In the late afternoon, so you should eat some breakfast.
The price of the trip includes entry fees around 650 pounds (35 euros) and a nice meal, so its very fair.
Higley recommend. Lasse

A good value, BUT... - Let me start off by saying that all things considered, this is a petty good deal. However, many of the specifics were less than ideal.
The two of us were picked up in a sedan from our hotel. It was nice having a private tour guide and driver, but the sedan got cramped in the back during the long stretches of driving, especially considering this is described as being by bus.
During the drive to Edfu (the first stop), the driver got cut off by a tuk-tuk and had to be held back by the tour guide to stop him from getting out of the car to fight the tuk-tuk driver.
Once we got to Edfu we felt extremely rushed. My girlfriend is very focused on taking good photos, so, mindful of the time constraints, she more or less went off and did her own thing while I listened to the guide.
Speaking of, our guide was not very good. He made several factually incorrect statements, was difficult to understand, and was very pushy. He kept telling us, "Quickly! Quickly!" and rushing us along. After only about 30 min at the temple (which is huge, btw) he wanted to get going to the next site, but he begrudgingly gave us 30 min free time.
After another 90 minute drive, we arrived at Kom Ombo where we had a similar experience: very rushed, a weird fixation on banal details in the temple's construction (he focused a lot on masonry joints for some reason), and 30 min free time. He seemed annoyed my girlfriend wanted to take photos. More "Quickly! Quickly!"
Despite these gripes, the sites are amazing. I just would have appreciated more time, especially at Edfu.
By now, it was about noon, and the promised lunch was nowhere to be found. Thank God we'd planned ahead and brought plenty of snacks. They also provided zero snacks or bottled water, despite what this listing claims.
Next was onto the Aswan High Dam. This stop should either be skipped or made optional. We spent about 2 minutes here before leaving. Massive waste of driving time that should have been reappropriated to Edfu and Kom Ombo.
Philae Temple was okay. It's a small site, and a plus side of the tour guide was that he handled the haggling for the boat to the island. (You have to haggle for the boat AFTER you have your ticket stub torn. So you're stuck there.) Philae is a smallish site, but it's an absolute zoo. The place was mobbed, and it was difficult to navigate the interior of the temple.
By the time we wrapped up at Philae and got back to the car, it was about 4:30, and we hadn't been fed yet. We were then driven 30 min to a restaurant in Aswan where we had an average (and uncomfortable) dinner with our tour guide.
I think this could have been much more enjoyable with a few changes.
1) A better tour guide who knew his stuff better and didn't rush us every step of the way.
2) Cut out the Aswan Dam and use that time at the huge Edfu complex.
3) Feed us before 5 PM.
