Short time - Good tour - The whole experience was good. We took only half day tour to West Bank. The tombs are slightly overhyped. The guide was good and he was slightly old and strict with the people around. He was very punctual. However the lunch place was nice but food was not that great. We did multiple tours in Egypt , food in this restaurant was not great. View was good. It was on Nile. Guide was pushing us to book other tours with them directly. Which we didn’t encourage.

Superb. - Luxor is a must go city in Egypt. With my guide, Salwa, I went to the Karnak and Luxor temples, Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. All historical information provided along the tour was amazing and helped me to feel like I was living at the era of the Pharos.

They were also flexible with the arrangements! - If you book through TripAdvisor, you will be contacted by WhatsApp, so you can discuss and arrange various things there. Pick-up and drop-off locations and times are free, but additional locations are charged. Our tour guide, Ayado, was very polite and very good! Although the explanations were in English, he spoke slowly and carefully, making it easy to understand, and always checked to see if there were any problems. When I told him, "I'm thirsty, so I want to buy some water," Ayado bought me some every time! In the Valley of the Kings, we also visited the tombs of Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses V/VI, which require additional tickets in addition to the three tombs included in the entrance fee. We purchased additional tickets ourselves when we entered. We also added the Valley of the Queens and the Mortuary Temple of Ramses VI, and spent a whole day touring the area! While we were touring the Mortuary Temple of Ramses VI, I asked him, "I want to go here too," and he readily agreed and took me there right away! The restaurant he took us to for lunch was also very delicious. I think the additional fee was around 4000 GBP (although my memory is hazy...). You pay this in cash to the guide on the day, so be careful if you are arranging one! The guide was very good, but the driver was a bit iffy. He would leave without waiting in the parking lot, so you would have to wait a while, and when you finally arrived, the air conditioning wasn't working and it was extremely hot inside the car...Other than that, I was very satisfied! They stopped at various shops along the way, but you can generally bargain, so be careful not to buy at the asking price!

Ramses 5 and 6 worth the extra money - We sas seti 1 and Ramses 5 and 6 in addition to the 3 tombs you can choose and our favourite was Ramses 5 and 6 . Seti 1 is also very beautiful. But moe expensive. Ahmed our guide helped contextualise the tombs we saw and helped us spot details we would have otherwise not seen. He suggested two tombs in the valley of the nobles both of which were an interesting insight into the daily lives of ordinary people. We especially enjoyed the tomb of sennofer which is a steep climb down but has a beautiful decoration of grapes and domestic life.

Wonderful tour of the West Bank in Luxor - A fascinating tour of the West Bank with our excellent guide, Ahmed Kassem, who was very friendly and knowledgeable, and also acted as our guide for the separate tour of the East Bank. Ahmed really helped us to appreciate the history of the Luxur, including the Valley of the Kings. We paid extra to view the tomb of Seti, which was a real highlight. The whole trip was well organised and communication with EMO tours was very easy. I would certainly recommend.

Amazing tour guide made the experience invaluable - Emo Tours has helped me on more than five occasions during my stay in Egypt. My two tours in Luxor (East and West Bank on separate days) were my best experiences with Emo. While I have found Eno Tours staff to be very polite, friendly, and flexible in general, the specific guide for Luxor - Ayman - is noteworthy. Not only he is very knowledgeable, his passion for Egyptian history is infectious. Further, he was very generous with providing context and anecdotes. He made the Luxor tours very enjoyable.

Perfect Guide and excellent experience. - I traveled solo to the whole of Egypt. Some days and placed I booked tour or private car with driver through Emo Tours. This time i had Samar (Sam) as my guide and Islam as my driver for the Luxor West Bank. I had a wonderful time. Sam was super knowledgeable and understanding. I learned so much and I would highly recommend you book your guide with Sam as the information given is key to exploring and understanding The west bank sites. Very clean car with air conditioning which was highly needed.

Was a tough time - It was tough. English was tough. We had to ask questions otherwise it was silent. We were told about a few things but unenthusiastically and monotonous. Brought up tipping about 6 times despite not giving us a great experience and not going above with anything. Pictures were bad. He looked annoyed and rushed us through picture areas. Basically felt guilted into tipping because I'm American.
