Captain Musa was wonderful! We had a great time. - Captain Musa did a wonderful job. We did a sunset cruise with a group of 5 friends and had a very fun time. He was easy going, friendly and knowledgeable. We felt safe and had a great experience. I would recommend this tour for a quick, beautiful and easygoing cruise on the Nile.

Beautiful experience in Luxor - This was a great experience while in Luxor. The crew was flexible and accommodating to us. The tea was delicious and enjoyed the smooth glide down the Nile!

Fun evening activity! - It was a fun evening! Everything ran smoothly. Mossa was a great captain! We got lucky and picked an evening with good winds, which made for good sailing conditions

Stunning Nile sunset - We had a lovely evening watching the Nile sunset from a comfortable, clean felucca. The two crew members were made sure the trip was a memorable one. The food was discussed beforehand and was delicious. If I had one concern, it was having to climb down a muddy bank to the boat, and then back up again in the dark. Definitely wouldn’t be suitable for elderly or disabled people.

Felucca Sailing Boat Trip without wind. - Boat captain arrived very early and we agreed to go 30 minutes earlier than booked. As we boarded, there was no wind so we were served a cup of tea instead of setting sail. We waited in vain for the wind and after about 40 minutes were towed to Banana Island where we walked around for a bit and then sat on the boat waiting for the wind. This never came. In the end it was decided that we would return to the hotel’s dock, using a combination of the boat’s oars and the river current. The captain was pleasant and tried hard in frustrating circumstances.

Wouldn’t recommend with this company.. - This is a trip with just a boy boat captain and no guide no commentary and you are left to make the best of it yourself. The River Nile is charming in any case so you probably will enjoy it but we just expected a little more of a “tour”. Dealing with Kareem the company owner has probably been the worst part of our experience as he is very temperamental and does not accept any constructive feedback. He even canceled our trip for the next day last minute when I shared some feedback with him. He could have simply shared what the trip is about and what to expect but he was too busy to do so hence our disappointment. For that I would hesitate to recommend using crown tours for other travelers as you would not want your plans falling apart because the company owner was in a bad mood!
