after the valley of the kings we will visit one of the Alabaster (stones) workshops to recognize the ancient Egyptian’s stones industry and tools.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then we will visit the stunning 3 terraces mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsuit
- Temple of Medinat Habu - then visit the mortuary temple of the king Ramses the 3rd at Habu which is the largest and the most beautiful temple in the western thebes

Colossi of Memnon - hen we stop to see the towering Colossi of Memnon Then I will drop you off at your accomodation in Luxor.
We will end our tour with Lunch at a local restaurant.

Great tours! - We have done a 1-day tour in Louxor and a 2-day tour in Cairo. It has been fantastic! The tour guides were phenomenal, joyful, passionate and very enthusiast to share their knowledge. They are extraordinary talented and I would love to be able to see them again. I highly recommend this experience.

Wonderful time! - I had a wonderful time with private day tour. My guide Mohamed has great amount of knowledges for each stops and took time to explain very well. He is very caring respectful person as well and I felt very comfortable with him during tour. Highly recommend!

Westbank at its best! - Very enjoyable and fascinating excursion, fullfilling all our wishes and expectations. Khalil was the perfect guide for us. It is hard to say, what was better, his nice and expert way to guide us - or the sights themselves. Very good way to explore the Westbank. We loved Habu Temple most.

Amazing tour! - This tour was absolutely fantastic, Ali was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He helped explain many things showed us some absolutely amazing sites at each location. Lunch was a taste sensation that was superb! If you want to learn while enjoying a great day out, this tour is for you!!!

THE tour to book when in Luxor - We did the private western bank tour with Haytham and the only thing we can say: “impeccable”. Haytham and his driver came picking us up at our hotel in an incredibly clean car. We did all the monuments mentioned and we’re just amazed by Haytham’s knowledge. He could answer every question and told us everything we needed to know to appreciate the sites at their fullest. He stopped multiple times to buy us water and took multiple pictures of us and the monuments. Next to that he is very responsive, helps you with every issue/concern and overall is a great person. On top of that he also arranged us another tour in Luxor for a good price which was also of excellent quality. Overall, if you’re considering booking any experience with Haytham or his company I won’t look any further and just go for it! It’s worth the money! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Great Experience - Mohamed was an excellent guide! He is very knowledgeable and detailed. Doing a private tour is definitely the best option if you want to learn about the history from a local.

Two unforgettable days wandering the most important sites in human history - We had two magnificent days out with Shimiaa in the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut - and then in Karnak and Luxor Temple. Finished up with a felucca on the Nile. Shimiaa has great wit, is extremely energetic and knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease at once. She knows the area like the back of her hand and is steeped in Egyptology so can answer any question. In such an important and breathtaking place it is important to have a guide to match the magnitude of the sites - and Shimiaa is just that. Can't thank her enough for making our trip so memorable.

Ask for Shimiaa as your guide! - Both my husband and I are impressed with the professionalism and personality of our guide Shimiaa. We spend two entire days with her and could easily spend more. Shimiaa definitely cares about the memories you will take back home with you and suggest the best combination of places to visit.
Her knowledge of Egypt is unlimited and she happily shares everything she knows.
What is even more impressive is that Shimiaa is a mother of three and she brilliantly copes with this demanding job in Luxor, where being a female guide is not that usual.
Thumbs up to Egypt Tailor Made for giving such a bright woman a chance to shine professionally. Keep it going! You should be proud of Shimiaa's work.

10/10 for Hassan, our trusted and experienced local guide, with a great sense of humour - Our visit of Luxor's Westbank was the so called 'crown on the Egypt jewel' consisting of 3 day-visits in Cairo, 3 day-visits in Aswan and surroudings, and 2 day-visits in Luxor with my wife and our 11 year old son.
Before arriving here, we submitted our plans to Tailor Made Tours Egypt based on a positive referral, asking them for a competitive quote for professional guides & driver services. They did.
Specifically about the Westbank, our idea was to to see the Memnon statues, visit 6 tombs in the valley of the Kings, the Hatschepsout temple and 1 tomb in the valley of the Queens.
Hassan Abdel Baset, our wonderful guide and father fo two, did so much more than accompanying us and sharing his knowledge.
His openness and senses of humor & relativisation worked great for us. During the whole day he kept entertaining our son separately, for instance when my wife and I wanted to stay longer in certain tombs to appreciate the amazing colors.
Getting to know us, our guide also made us realize that less tombs would do the job in the first valley, thus making us save time and money that we were able to use differently.
After a quick stop at an alabster factory, we all ended the day having a wonderful diner together in a nice restaurant overlooking the Nile & the Louxor tempel.
All together we did 5 day-tours with Hassan and our driver Mamdoh. We strongly recommend them. Both very professional and honest!

My Egypt Dream! - I had the best guide Ismail to take me around Luxor. It was all just the right amount of history and freedom to explore. Two relatives of mine suggested Taylor Made Tours and they definitely did not disappoint. Thank you so much Ismail for your beautiful honest nature. I would come back again just to see you!
