Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit three tombs belonging to different dynasties, with your guide there to offer suggestions and advice on the best tombs to see. Next, you’ll be taken to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh to have ruled Egypt. You’ll then go to Deir el Medina, where you can view the homes of those who worked in the royal tombs, and see some exceptionally colorful tombs. A visit to Medinat Habu is next on the agenda, which includes a palace and a town encapsulated within fortification walls. You’ll make your entrance via the High Gate, or Migdol, which bears a striking resemblance to a fortress. Following this, you’ll behold the Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient Egyptian statues, which were erected during the reign of King Amenhotep III.
