Brilliant guide, happy & smooth transits throughout our busy 11 day intinerary. - We spent 9 days with our guide Samar Mohamed meeting in Aswan, viviting Abu Simbel & Philae Temples, then 3 nights on a beautiful Nile Dahabyia, visiting all the temples along the way- KomOmbo, Edfu & enjoying the views along the Nile. In Luxor we did everything, the valleys of the Kings, Queens, Workers, Dendara & Ebydos, the Balloon flight ( stunning), the temple complexes of Karnak & Luxor & more. I think we super lucked out with our wonderful woman guide. Samar was an incredible guide, enthusiastic, positive, happy & very accommodating, her timings were great & on our requests, she organised local breakfast pick ups for us on the way to the sites. Great to eat what the locals eat! Her knowledge of the sites, the history, the ancient culture was great & she was a really good story teller, connecting all the sites for us, allowing us to visualise this ancient civilisation & enabling us to imagine ancient life in these awesome sites. Samar kept us organised & made for smooth transitions & transits between all the points of interest in Aswan, along the Nile & in Luxor. She helped us buy local spices & was went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Oxen also organised our couple of days in Vairo at the beginning of our trip. Our whole itinerary was very well organised, the vehicles were great & plenty of water was provided - something you don’t think about until you’re there & on the move.

You feel like a king and queen on the Nile - What a great experience to sail on the Dahabyia River Nile. We even had three days of wind, so the tow was not necessary. At various places you will stop and you can go on an excursion. The guides everywhere know the places and the stories that go with it. You will be welcomed royally everywhere and the staff of the boat will make you feel like more than Customer. This was one of the best holiday experiences ever. Especially if you have a woman who is crazy about Egypt with her history and culture.. An absolute Must for the Egypt goer

Dream holiday on the Nile - The dahabyia was very nice, very clean with an upper deck resting on which we spend very beautiful moments watching these sublime landscapes parade before our eyes. Very nice memory of being able to stop at any time, to have the freedom to visit small villages, agriculture unlike the biggest boats that need a dock to stop. These five days are a sweet dream with a great team. Only regret: it's so short!

Egypt with Samar - Extreme heat, which did not allow us to visit all the archaeological sites. Our guide, Samar, is excellent. Very good English, and great knowledge of the cultures of ancient Egypt
