Don’t book this tour!!! It is a scam!!! - Don’t book this tour!!! It is a scam!!! I booked the tour previously to my flight to Egypt, so I was sure I could definitely go to Luxor. My booking was confirmed by Viator but the tour operator did not get into contact with me. When I wrote the tour operator one day before for confirmation of the meeting point and the time, I did not receive an answer. Next day I got up at 4:30 am, was at 5:00 am was at the reception for the pickup, which was supposed to be at 5:30 am. But no one showed up! I was there trying to reach sb in charge until 7:30 am. All the hotel stuff at the gate and reception etc confirmed that there was no one to pick me up. I also got into contact with Viator already at 5:40 am and they tried to call the operator 3/4 times without getting through. Also my receptionist called them- no answer… when it was clear no one would show up, the stuff of Viator asked me how to proceed and ofcourse I wanted to find another tour for that day and get my money back. But they told me that they have to check first what has happened as so they also did not reach anyone and I have the confirmation that no one was there from the stuff. So I could have booked another tour with them but they did not confirm that I will get my money back. Only send a request on my demand to the operator. That was it! They told me I will get notice about my money between 24 and 72 hours. Now it’s almost a week and nothing happened! I talked to so many people from Viator but no one returned the money back so far and did not even get in contact again. It’s over 300 euros - don’t waste your time and let them ruin your holiday!!!! When I’m back from my travels it is still not solved and I will need to fight to get my Money returned and you don’t need that stress!!! I will never book on Viator again!!!!
