Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, a local guide and driver will warmly welcome and pick you up.

You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the first day is yours to explore the city at your leisure.

Full Day Tour of HCM City

The Independence Palace - Begin your tour at the historic Reunification Palace (also known as the Independence Palace), a must-see landmark for visitors to Ho Chi Minh City. This site served as the residence and office of the South Vietnamese President during the Vietnam War.

War Remnants Museum - Next, visit the War Remnants Museum (or History Museum), which documents the images and stories of the Vietnam War, also known as the US War in Vietnam.

After leaving the museum, enjoy the French architectural beauty of the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office. These are popular spots for tourists to capture the city’s charm. You can also immerse yourself in local life by enjoying a drink (iced tea) at the cathedral while listening to stories from nearby locals. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, Pho 2000.

Ba Thien Hau Temple - After lunch and a brief rest, explore more city highlights, including Giac Lam Pagoda, Thien Hau Pagoda in bustling Saigon’s Chinatown or Cho Lon (Big Market), and Ben Thanh Market. You can purchase souvenirs for family and friends at the market.

HCM - My Tho - Cai Be - Vinh Long

Mekong Delta - NOTE: My Tho - Sadec (Monday / Wednesday / Friday) and Sadec - My Tho (Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday)

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Mekong Pier to board the L’AMANT boat. The boat will take you upstream to Cai Be, allowing you to enjoy the stunning scenery of the mighty Mekong River and its peaceful landscapes along the banks. Lunch will be served on the boat before the afternoon activities begin.

Cai Be Floating Market - In the early afternoon, after a satisfying lunch, board a local sampan boat to navigate through Cai Be’s Floating Market and row through the numerous canals. The breathtaking scenery of the Mekong Delta will leave a lasting impression.

Disembark to visit an ancient colonial house and a traditional local rice popcorn factory. In the village, you can also sample some typical local specialties.

Vinh Long - In the afternoon, enjoy the spectacular sunset from the boat’s sundeck. Keep your camera ready to capture these beautiful moments.

The boat will anchor near Vinh Long (after My Thuan Bridge) for the night. Enjoy a delightful dinner on board and a peaceful evening with two movies, “L’Amant” or “Indochine.” Overnight stay will be on the L’AMANT boat.

Vinh Long - Sa Dec

Sa Dec - After breakfast, continue the tour by heading to Sa Dec.

Upon arrival, disembark from the L’AMANT boat to board a local boat.

You will be taken to Sa Dec city, where the renowned French writer Marguerite Duras spent her childhood. Here, you can explore and learn about various flowers and bonsai plants.

Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House - Visit the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le (or the “house of the Chinese”), featured in Marguerite Duras’ novel L’AMANT. Then, visit a Chinese temple and the tomb of L’AMANT. Finally, stop at the school where Marguerite’s mother taught and the house where she lived with her children.

On the return journey, explore the vibrant street market of the town.

The fourth day’s tour concludes around 11:00 am. Afterward, enjoy lunch and rest before returning to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 3:00 pm.

Ho Chi Minh - Da Lat

Da Lat - After breakfast, enjoy some free time until your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for a one-hour flight to Da Lat.

Upon arrival at Da Lat airport, a local guide and driver will greet and pick you up. You will be driven to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is yours to explore the city, savor delicious local cuisine, or shop at your own pace.

Dalat - Nha Trang

Nha Trang - After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Nha Trang, a journey of approximately three hours.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

After a brief rest, you are free to explore and enjoy the city, including local cuisine and shopping.

Nha Trang City & Island

Tri Nguyen Aquarium - After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island, where you can learn about hundreds of unique marine creatures.

Next, visit the Institute of Oceanography, where you can discover the largest collection of specimens and living creatures in Southeast Asia.

XQ Hand Embroidery - Continue the tour with a visit to the XQ embroidery gallery/workshop to admire exquisite hand embroidery and try your hand at a small project.

Afterward, take a short break at Chong Promontory, an area resembling a giant’s handiwork of stacked massive rocks.

Po Nagar Cham Towers - The evening program includes a visit to the Cham Po Nagar Towers, masterpieces honoring the Mother of the Cham Kingdom. These well-preserved towers are still used for worship by the Cham people. Remember to remove your shoes before entering.

Dam Market - Conclude the day with a visit to Dam Market, a renowned trade center in Nha Trang.

Departure from Nha Trang

Nha Trang - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The rest of the morning is free for packing, relaxing, shopping, or sightseeing before your transfer to the airport for departure.
