The main building is dedicated to the god Amun Ra, considered his earthly dwelling. The earliest parts of the structure date back to the Middle Kingdom, with some references to even older buildings from the 3rd Dynasty.

Luxor Temple - The visit to Luxor Temple is optional. It was initially constructed by a king of the 12th Dynasty and later completed by the renowned King Ramses II. Located in the heart of ancient Thebes, this temple was also dedicated to the chief god Amun Re.

Luxor West bank / Valley of the Kings / Hatshepsut temple / Colossi of Memnon

Valley of the Kings - The visit to the Valley of the Kings is optional. This site is considered the royal cemetery for the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, where many Pharaohs were buried.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut is optional. This mortuary temple, built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty, is regarded as a masterpiece of ancient architecture.

Colossi of Memnon - The visit to the Colossi of Memnon is optional. These are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled during the Eighteenth Dynasty around 1350 BCE.

Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut) - The visit to the Tomb of King Tutankhamun is optional. This tomb, located in the Valley of the Kings, belongs to the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

Edfu Temples / Sailing / Komombo Temple

Temple of Horus - The visit to the Temple of Horus is optional. This Ptolemaic temple, constructed between 237 and 57 BC, is one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient monuments. Buried by desert sand after the pagan cult was banned, the temple is dedicated to Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. With its roof still intact, it remains one of the most atmospheric ancient buildings.

Temple of Kom Ombo - The visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo is optional. This unique double temple in Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt, was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty between 180 and 47 BC, with some additions made during the Roman period.

Temple of Philae - The visit to the Temple of Philae is optional. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this temple is set in a beautifully landscaped area that matches its original site before being relocated by UNESCO due to the construction of the Aswan Dam. The temple includes several shrines and sanctuaries, such as Trajan’s Kiosk or Pharaoh’s Bed.

Aswan High Dam - The visit to the Aswan High Dam is optional. Built between 1960 and 1970, this embankment dam is the world’s largest and was constructed across the Nile in Aswan, Egypt. Its significance has largely overshadowed the earlier Aswan Low Dam, completed in 1902 downstream.
