MUST DO!! - This was my favorite excursion when visiting Cancun! Staff and tour guide on the boat were absolutely amazing & friendly! Enrique hands down was one of the best tour guides I’ve come across in my many years of traveling. Please do not forget to tip. They work so hard on making your experience flawless & enjoyable!!!

Go Ahead and Book It! - Antonio was our guide and we had a blast, the weather was super windy and cloudy but the ride in and out was super enjoyable, they give you the option to stay on the boat and enjoy the open bar if you aren’t a strong swimmer for the snorkeling session so that was nice, the bento box lunches were good, the food used was super fresh and they made sure everyone had a drink the entire time. I also really appreciated the transparency of our guide when he warned us about the aggressive merchants at the port. Beware if you have a wristband on from your resort they will act like they know you/met you from your resort as a way to reel you in so just be mindful of that. Otherwise the excursion was fun and well worth the money. We decided to rent a golf cart and drive around the island and back and it was well worth the money.

Great value - We had a great experience with Sabino our guide, Axel the bartender, and the rest of the crew. The only thing I would note is that the snorkeling activity is not good for those new to snorkeling or who are not confident swimmers. You have to snorkel about 900 feet in the open ocean and it can be overwhelming for someone who doesn’t know how to use the snorkel gear or who isn’t good at swimming for a bit of distance, as there is no time to figure out the equipment before it’s time to go. Other than that everything was great and the staff was very diligent about things like dietary restrictions and ensuring we had everything we needed.

Bluest Water You Will Ever See - The water was the most beautiful we had ever seen! We stopped twice to go in the water - once to snorkel and once just to swim. Where we snorkeled you could see the statues. The water was a bit rough, but worth going in. Our tour guide, Carlos, was fabulous!!

Beautiful day at Isla Mujeres - It was a beautiful boat ride to Isla Mujeres. Our tour guide, Daniel, was fantastic and brought a great energy to the tour. Unfortunately, the bus missed our hotel and we had to take a cab to the dock. In addition, we were unable to snorkel due to the windy weather. The entire time we were at Isla Mujeres was fantastic. Many places to swim and plenty of opportunities to shop.

Disappointed - It was not in any fashion a trip that would include snorkeling. The boat stopped in some area in open ocean where there were many other boats assumingly out to snorkel. I have been on snorkeling trips that were excellent - usually in some cove or area known to have sea turtles. I understood we would go to a beach on Isla Mujeres that was a desirable place to be. Instead it was a tourist trap with a very small swimming area in between docks and it was crowded. I did not understand how far the departure docks were from the resort or I never would have booked this trip. We spent way too much time getting to the docks. I know it seems customary to hit up customers with docking fees at the time of departure, and yes there was a disclosure that they were not included - but REALLY - just include it in your rate up front. Our group was picked up first and dropped off last. That was wrong. We had to wait on both ends for the other parties. The driver should have come to our resort first on the return. Instead, he had to loop around to get back along the highway to return us. It was painful after a long day. I will note, the crew was very nice and did their best to accommodate customers. The lunch was rather pitiful, but presented nicely enough in the bento boxes.

Not what it said on the tin - At first the staff are fantastic, but then you realise you’ve paid a lot for this trip and not a lot of time on the actual boat the discussion on board was a pretty big part in people’s feelings on the return journey. They said if we were back at the jetty for 3.30 we would have a second swim stop, We were all there before in the direct sunlight snd heat and so was the catamaran. We went up to the catamaran to let them know we was on the jetty. However they didn’t come for us till 4pm There was no second swim stop, Just tequila shots to get everyone tipsy to hand over tips followed by a rushed rude atmosphere after the box has gone round. see how they treat you when you can’t physically pay tips. Or in our case not enough!!! They hound you with a card machine which they didn’t have on the way out “so tips are cash only” (was the announcement on the tannoy) but then suddenly the photographer has agreed to help out as he has a card machine, to get you to pay so there’s “no excuses” the guide said on the tannoy on the return journey ??? if your card doesn’t work then try another and another and what about your credit card, or your wife’s Then your left to fend for yourself disabled or not, Staff Standing and watching you and another person on the trip fetch and pass the electric scooter off the the boat whilst it was rocking around and almost lost my footing, off the boat into the water 4 of the staff stood within a metre of me. The same four staff who were so helpful putting it on before hand I did tip them every penny I’d saved, that day but he said that’s not even four dollars!!! As Id put my money in the tip Box !!! I felt like grabbing it and throwing it in the sea !!! Bare in mind we had 6 drinks in total and paid 600’pesos for 2 of them So what was the big service tip for ?? (But I’m a company director so I kept my cool) I tried to explain to him we didn’t know we were going into a big island and thought it was only really a boat trip with a stop on a little tiny island, so I hadn’t taken money to cover the extra expenses. I spoke to the back of his head whilst he turned his back on me. I then felt like throwing him into the sea, (But I still kept my cool) And I Was polite etc whilst we finished the trip. Bare in mind also that we weren’t on the boat that long we firstly got to the jetty’s for our all inclusive privilege sailing day,and was welcomed and asked would we like a drink ? We ordered two drinks and he returned with our drinks and left them a few mins later and half way down our drink asked how would we like to pay??we told him we’re on the all inclusive trip and he said that was only on the boat trip and it hasn’t started yet !!! 600pesos £24 !!! and was left on the island with tours and shops and restaurants it’s a full on town/harbour so it didn’t cover everything, i bought three drinks on the island and haggled a taxi for 500 pesos to tour the island, It’s not like we were on and off the boat, with lots of activities and entertained by the boat staff all day, We were just shipped there and back with one swim stop I took 2000 pesos (£90 for tips and odds n sods) s asnd spent 600 pesos on the jetty bar !!! We tipped the boat staff for drinks on the way out people at the restaurant and the bar too and people who helped us with the scooter on the island, through the sand etc The taxi we got for 500 pesos We had 400 pesos left The taxi took us to a 7 eleven store And my Apple Pay failed and I couldn’t contact the bank nightmare !! I spent 300 pesos 2 drinks 2 bags of crisps and two small chocolate bars as we were only getting back at 7pm (and had nothing to eat or drink since 1pm ish) We sat in the shade of a palm tree 34c degrees Eating our little picnic and laughed as we had only booked this to get rid of some pesos as we had tens of thousands of pesos to spend in the hotel safe, yet here we was with 120 pesos, we kept back 80 tip for the boat and 20 for the driver Sharing one drink as I gave mine to the taxi man as I had nothin to tip him with either !!! The rest of the people on the boat had a similar experience from the crew trying to lever tips from them. And it was the talk of the mini bus on the return journey. The queue up for buffet food ,Eat lunch as fast as you can and gulp a couple of drinks, whilst jumping quickly in the water and a quick lay down on a limited quantity of sun loungers A quarter of what was needed (or you could pay extra for the ones not included) Some people walked away from our group as there were no loungers. So we felt guilty and got up. All this at the restaurant/beach had to be done within 90 mins then your left to your own devices for the rest of the day. We might as well of got a ferry, to the island but buy your own food and drinks for a quarter of the price, It’s certainly not the experience we expected, and nor did the other people we were on the trip with. It should be re named “An island day trip with executive sailing to and from the island” Then people would see what’s on the island and take money to cover it. Maybe we were miss sold it but still it was no “experience of a life time” Like it was stated in the brochure, We set off at 7.am and returned at 7.20pm that’s over 12 hrs you would think at least 6 hrs would be sailing We bought into a Privilege sailing experience day with paradise island stop all inclusive dining etc etc What we got was 2 to 2.5 hrs max on a boat with one swim stop Then the return helpful driver loaded us up lovely Then his first introduction was him pointing to his sign Which was a picture of Jesus Christ saying that our lives were in his hands, and all tips are what he works for !! And by the style of his ingnorant aggressive driving I’d say he wasn’t kidding either !!! When he said this the replies he got was that every one had no cash left from the boat trip ! He said yes they are capitan !! I’m am only driver !!! He was fuming, texting and calling from his phone whilst driving only feet away from the cars and vehicles in front in and out of lanes at 120-130 kph narrowly missing these vehicles, Cornering and braking harshly Through the rush hour traffic. I am disabled with arthritis from the fact that I have had over 30 high speed accidents over 20 years of motor sports, I have raced or professionally driven nearly every vehicle with wheels, And I would never drive like this guy with civilian passengers on board, my passengers were a Co driver fully harnessed, with racing fireproof overhauls, crash helmet and in a vehicle with a full roll cage. Let alone families with old age pensioners or children, mostly without wearing a seat belt. I put my seat belt on and my wife said that’s not good when she spotted me doing this, as I’m pretty much fearless (in the right hands). Might I add the driver in the morning was completely the opposite and so helpful and didn’t wait for a tip, but was humble when you gave him one, He should be the “big boss” And the swim stop was excellent but short. The staff in the independent restaurant on the island were excellent too.

SCAM! - They did not honor the adults only sailing. There were kids on the boat. We paid extra for the adults only and did not receive a refund. DO NOT BOOK!

Disappointed - Didn’t get to go on the trip and no refund or rebooking was offered. The pick up time was not the same on the app as was emailed by the company sometime later after registration, and due to an internet outage at our hotel, the secondary confirmation email didn’t come through until it was too late.
