• Pharmacy Museum - This museum was opened in Lviv in the 60s of the last century on the basis of an ancient pharmacy. By the way, it still works. The exposition is located in 16 halls, where more than 3 thousand exhibits are collected. Visitors can carefully consider the collection of dishes for storing medicines, pharmacy equipment, real pharmaceutical scales. In one of the halls, a pharmacy laboratory was ideally recreated. It was reproduced from engravings and ancient books.
• Dominican Cathedral - The Dominican Church can be called the pearl of Lviv architecture. This is one of the most significant baroque monuments of bygone eras. Locals call it Soli Deo because of the inscription on the facade of the cathedral. This is a traditional meeting place, and every local resident knows it by that name. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Dormition Church, Korniakt Tower - Among the most outstanding architectural monuments of Lviv it is difficult not to single out a magnificent example of the Renaissance style - the Dormition Church. Three amazing buildings that make up the complex of the church are a wonderful ancient decoration of the city. For a long time the Dormition Church was wooden. Its stone reconstruction began only in the 15th century and lasted about 40 years. The architect of the project was a successful Italian master named Pavel Rimlyanin.
• Monument to Leopold von Sacher-Masoch - The monument to the scandalously famous Austrian writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, who was born in Lviv, on whose behalf the term “masochism” originated, is located in the center of this western Ukrainian city, which until 1918 was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The monument was erected next to the Masoch Cafe, recreating the atmosphere of the writer’s works.
• Church of St. Andrew - Bernardine Monastery is one of the most significant historical and architectural monuments of the city of Lviv. The monastery buildings today belong to the Lviv State Historical Archive, and the church itself - to the Greek Catholic Church.
• Boim Chapel - It was built in the 17th century over the Boim family crypt, there was also a city cemetery near it, later it was forbidden to bury people in the city and it was transferred outside the city, the Lychakiv cemetery was founded.
• Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - The Latin Cathedral is almost the only cathedral in Lviv, which was built over a hundred years and preserves the imprints of almost all architectural styles (classicism, baroque, renaissance, gothic) and construction periods. On July 25, 2001, Pope John Paul II visited the Latin Cathedral. And in 2003, a memorial plaque in Latin, Polish and Ukrainian appeared on the western wall of the temple to commemorate this event.
• Church of the Jesuits - Once the church accommodated up to 5 thousand parishioners. Jesuit Church - the first monument of baroque architecture in Lviv. Now you can find him on Teatralnaya Street. This building was built in 1610-1630, the architect was Jacopo Briano, although the original author of the project remained unknown. For many decades, the temple was under reconstruction, and only in 1740 the residents of Lviv and visitors to the city had the opportunity to visit inside again.
• Rynok Square - All medieval Lviv can be seen in a small area. Each house here, each sculpture keeps its own legend, has its own secret. This open-air museum is called Market Square.
