Fantastic Wine Tasting - Welcoming to beginners and English speakers - This experience was fantastic. I went with my sister and mother. Our tour guide Eddy was very helpful and did a great job explaining the intricacies of wine tasting and growing to us even though we were beginners. He is very knowledgeable about the area and wine industry in the region as well. The first stop, Domains des Voutes Dorees, was interesting because we were in the building where the wine was made which was a cool experience. We got to see the man clipping and sealing the roots. The wine there was also fantastic and the owner was very friendly. Then we went to Domaine de Fond-Vielle where we walked through the vineyard as Dom (Owner) explained his operation. There was a great view of the beautiful yellow limestone houses and castles that dotted the countryside We were seated in a very cool bar area to do the tasting and were also given some very tasty meat and cheese to go with the wine. The last wine I tasted there was the best I have ever had, and we ended up buying 2 bottles from each location. Would strongly recommend.

Amazing - We had Eddy as our tour guide and he answered every question we had knowledgeably. The whole experience was great and there were many cute animals during this trip!

Merci Eddy! - The wine tour was fantastic! Very easy meeting Point. Just make sure to get there 15 minutes early. Eddie was absolutely wonderful as were the representatives at the wineries. Pours were generous, and there were only five of us on the tour so it was very small. Highly recommend! So glad we did it. Not to mention the wine was fantastic. So grateful not to have to drive!

Nice little escape from the city - It’s a great half day trip in the countryside. Enjoyed the views, the explanations of the wine region and the people we met at the wineries were very friendly. Thankfully the weather provided an even better experience with some sunshine even on a colder month.

Worth scheduling when in Lyon - Great tour with Eddy! Beautiful wine region. Two wineries that were vastly different. One completely organic. Multiple tastes at each winery and cheese and salamis at the second

Simply the Best - We have been on many wine tours but this was the simply the best!! Why- great weather, comfortable transport, friendly family wineries, beautiful countryside,good wine and most of all Eddy. His knowledge and wit made the outing complete, lots of fun and he even managed to educated us in the nicest possible way as we laughed and drank our way on the tour.

Excellent experience - This was an excellent experience. Our driver and guide was lovely and the wineries were just a short drive out of Lyon. The tastings were fabulous, as were the cheese and meat pairings. Thoroughly recommended.

An in-depth look at wine tasting. - This wine tasting tour was absolutely exceptional, and the countryside was gorgeous! We met members of two, family-owned wineries who were so delightful. Our guide, Eddy, was extremely knowledgeable about wine, and he gave us more education than we could have imagined about the grapes, the fermentation process, and how to read a wine from A to Z. Between the two wineries, we must have tasted about 10 wines which really gave us a great overview of the different types of wine. This trip is definitely worth your time and money!

Great afternoon excursion - Booked this quite last minute (the morning of). Great trip from start to end. Pick up and drop off from a convenient location. We ride in a comfortable van, the guide (Raphanelle) is lovely, friendly, knowledgeable, speaks well. We visited two small wineries, trying 4-5 wines at each. Every wine was quite lovely. We bought some to take home with us, but there was 0 pressure or expectation. The first winery also provided a lovely snack.

Great wine tour, fabulous guide - This was a wonderful 4 hour tour into the Beaujolais wine region near Lyon with only 8 people in a mini van. Our guide, Raphaelle, was informative and fun. She gave us lots of information about the villages we drove through and the 2 vineyards we visited. The tastings at both wineries were very generous and the producer delicious. Would highly recommend this tour.
