Excellent food tour in Lyon! - Toné was incredibly knowledgeable in food and an incredibly kind human being! We had some dietary restrictions in our group (including myself being vegetarian) and he made it his priority to make sure everyone was taken care of. We had a very filling amount of food & dessert and I learned some facts about it too. If you’re in Lyon, take this tour!

Great food and walking tour - Our guide Tone is amazing, he is knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. We had a teenager tagged along and we thought he will be bored but the activities, history and walking through the old city was actually interesting for him. The portion of food is pretty good and of high quality.

Excellent tour - I did the food tour with Toné and had a wonderful time. Toné was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and cuisine of Lyon. We stopped at 5 different restaurants and shops to try a variety of sweet and savory local dishes. At the end of the tour Toné provided recommendations for local restaurants and bars, so I think this tour would be great to do at the beginning of your trip to Lyon to ensure that you get amazing food for the rest of your trip.

A Good way to quick learn about some traditional Lyonnaise food - Toneē was a good host guide taking us to many parts of the old Lyon to sample: in a cellar some sausages, cheese, bread, wine. Then moved to a small restaurant for tradidional Quenelle & explaining its history, then we walked past several michelin star restaurants and he explained their system. Onto dessert we had a praline bread pastry (delicious), then a candy store sampling of praline covered almonds, & samples of several types of chocolates. Lastly, from South of France they make different limoncello, limecello, mandarincello, and ? another. It was a good quick way to get familiarized with some traditional foods, and after he sent us all on whatsapp a list of all of his favorite restaurants in different parts of Lyon which is helpful
