Lyon Food Experience by the Storyteller - The knowledge and the ability of our guide Tone to convey that knowledge to us was fantastic. Great stories. Personal anecdotes. Ability to engage guests. Fantastic. Side trip to the “secret passageways” was a great added bonus.

The best of Lyon through its flavorful history! - Our guide, Huda, did a wonderful job showing us the important sites and explaining the history behind it. We can now appreciate better the amazing places the city had to offer!!

Worthwhile experience! - We really enjoyed this tour! Huda was very engaging and took us to many places and explained the history and culture surrounding Lyon. She also served as a translator in a few places as we got to interact with entertaining shopkeepers. All the food was delicious and unique to Lyon while also not being overly adventurous. She also provided us with many recommendations for the rest of our time in the city

Eating in an uninhibited way in the capital of table pleasures - Very nice and very interesting. Very nice meetings with craftsmen who work excellent products. Addresses in the tourist district but far from major tourist groups A great companion who knows, very available and listens.

Walking Food Tour with Nathalie - Our tour guide Nathalie was amazing. The walking tour was at a perfect pace. As senior citizens, we were very appreciative of that. We stopped at 4 establishments for tastings and lunch. We also saw a good deal of Old Lyon which was a great way to spend our first full day.

Good - History of Lyon. We have done viator in several cities in this one only had three stops and it would have been nice to have more stops and less food at each stop.

The Expensive Food Tour - The tour was good but not great. The guide was lovely and spoke very good English. We felt the cost per experience was quite high- the food that was shared probably cost 25-30 euros, and two of the stops, were local shops that were offering the goods to anyone who wanted to stop in and sample their goods. So no cost associated. There are plenty of free tours of the old Lyon for free, so while the explanation and knowledge was good, nothing that would have been as costly as what this tour costs. Additionally at the bouchon- only have one dish to sample- would have even better to do several dishes family style- so in one try- we could try several of the bouchon specialities. I would go again- but not sure it was worth the price for a three hour walking tour.
