Great Wine Tour - Great scenery, wines and information! Francois was a great source of information about the wines and the area.

Great tour for a taste of Beaujolais! - This was an excellent tour! Francois was a delightful guide who was fun and informative. My only suggestion.- add 30 min to the tour to allow for a bit more time to see/experience Oignt.

Great half day trip! - This trip was a great half day visit to the Beaujolais region! We started with an early tasting at a beautiful location/chapel close to Oingt that included some great pastries to snack on and then we got to send some time walking around the town. Ended with a tasting at an amazing family run winery (with an adorable vineyard dog named mascot!). Our guide was great, friendly, and very knowledgeable and made the experience fun and welcoming!

The most memorable tour our our trip - Our guide was very knowledgeable about the region and wine making process. We really enjoyed our quick stop in a beautiful old picturesque “golden stones” village. The last tasting on a family run vineyard was so wholesome. The tasting was wonderful with great snacks. The wine prices were unbelievably inexpensive. We wish we had more room in our luggage to bring home more wine.

Amazing experience ! Highly recommended - It was an amazing experience, wonderful views and amazing wine! Francois was so informative, even if you don’t drink I would highly recommend for the experience he provides. So friendly, amazing, wonderful, would go again!

Great day in Lyon's wine country - Yann and Marine, our guides, arrived on time. Their English was easy to understand. The vans they used were comfortable and had space for my wife's folding walker. Our group toured the beautiful countryside and made three stops. The first was near an old church where the guides laid out a picnic like setting and we tasted a local white and a red while they explained the history and layout of the local wine region. We then went to Omingt, a medieval town and UNESCO heritage site and had about 30 minutes to explore the old village. Finally we ended up at a local winery that is on land that has been in the same family for ten generations! We met the current winemaker who showed us vines that his great grandfather had planted. He explained the process of wine making and we sampled four wines accompanied with some delicious cheeses, meat, and bread. We then returned to our starting point in Lyon to end the day. The tour did take the full four hours and it was well spent. Would definitely recommend.

Great wine and beautiful county side views. - Stopping in the village of Oingt and having time to explore. The wine tasting at Troncy. If our guide had used a microphone in the car I would have rated 5. It was very difficult to hear her commentary.

Good, but could easily have been better! - The visit to the family wine maker was especially good as his passion for his product shone through. The viewpoint by the chapel was beautiful but the tasting experience there could have been much better. It was great to have a Morgon to taste as otherwise we would not have tried a cru. But the tasting shots were tiny in the extreme (very stingy considering the cost of the trip) and we only tried 2 wines. Surely this was an opportunity to compare a Beaujolais, a Beaujolais village and a cru - as well as a white. Also the food was a complete mismatch - sweet pastry with a Morgon??

Excellent guide but not meeting expectations - Francois was an excellent guide with great information to the wine region and process. It was disappointing that we only visited one winery. The only other tasting was bottles provided by the guide at a stop one the way.
