Great experience! - fantastic informative tour, very friendly guide! highly recommended! This tour gave us a wonderful overview of Lyon.

Fabulous introduction to Lyon with a great guide. - Amazing tour! Our guide, Diego, was extremely knowledgable and well prepared. He worked around some significant environmental issues (rain and a huge marathon with over 15,000 participants at the same time as our tour). He was an excellent translator as we watched a Roman trial, handled all the logistics of getting to the sites, and timed the trip perfectly to see the astronomical clock. Learned a lot about Lyon's famous sites and would definitely recommend this tour. Well worth the money.

Great and informative tour - Wonderful tour! We were able to see some fascinating parts of Lyon that we otherwise would have walked right past. Our house was so knowledgeable and kind. This was a wonderful way to learn about the city and it's secrets.

Very fun and informative walking tour - Our tour guide was such a delight. So funny, so personable, so much knowledge. The time flew by. Would highly recommend this walking tour to anyone.

Old Lyon comes to life! - Our guide, Jean (Didac), was incredible. He was very flexible when we were delayed in traffic and met us at our hotel, which was very close to the designated pickup point. He loves the incredible city of Lyon and is anxious to share its' history and his stories. We saw so much in 2 hours, it was nearly information overload! It was well worth the time and cost and we would, obviously, highly recommend it.

Great tour. - Our tour guide met us at the appointed time and quickly explained the plan for the tour. He was well-versed in the history of the area, used very effective visual aids to explain certain sites, and moved us efficiently from site to site. We saw many of the most interesting sites in old Lyon and were given ideas on other parts of the city we might visit later. He finished the tour by recommending a nice local restaurant for lunch and dropped us right at the entrance.

A great city - The city is great and we have done a lot of different things. Old town, churches, museums, murals, shipping, views and fine dining.

Perfect intro to Lyon - I wasn't quite sure what to expect since the tour description was vague, but this ended up being everything I hoped for. Our guide took us up the funicular to the Basilica, gave us a great history of the city from the gorgeous view, then gave us time inside the Basilica. We saw the ruins, went through the museum, then hit a bunch of things down in old Lyon including the Guignol museum and a trip through a few traboules. Dadic was full of tips for other places to see and where to eat. I strongly recommend this tour for your first full day in Lyon!

Lyon private walking tour - Great private walking tour of Lyon. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Lyon's history and knew everything about the city. Highly recommended.

Rushed and incomplete, we do not recommend as private tour. - For the price of a private tour we felt rushed and only got a portion of the tour. The guide seemed nice enough and we were ok with a slightly speedier tour but this was ridiculous for the full price we paid. There were suppose to be gondola tickets included which he handed us and told us we go on our own the next day, the problem was the tickets were not paid for as he gave us old tickets. Our tour got pushed forward because the guide double booked another tour this was not our responsibility for their poor management. Although we explained when we would get in and we agreed a bit earlier it even felt more rushed only because the tour guide had his other tour. If you can’t comfortably give us the full tour then do not give the tour. We didn’t receive a discount or anything but only got a portion of the tour and not working tickets. I do not recommend for a private tour we felt like we got taken advantage of for our time and our money.
