Old Lyon comes to life! - Our guide, Jean (Didac), was incredible. He was very flexible when we were delayed in traffic and met us at our hotel, which was very close to the designated pickup point. He loves the incredible city of Lyon and is anxious to share its' history and his stories. We saw so much in 2 hours, it was nearly information overload! It was well worth the time and cost and we would, obviously, highly recommend it.

Great tour. - Our tour guide met us at the appointed time and quickly explained the plan for the tour. He was well-versed in the history of the area, used very effective visual aids to explain certain sites, and moved us efficiently from site to site. We saw many of the most interesting sites in old Lyon and were given ideas on other parts of the city we might visit later. He finished the tour by recommending a nice local restaurant for lunch and dropped us right at the entrance.

A great city - The city is great and we have done a lot of different things. Old town, churches, museums, murals, shipping, views and fine dining.

Perfect intro to Lyon - I wasn't quite sure what to expect since the tour description was vague, but this ended up being everything I hoped for. Our guide took us up the funicular to the Basilica, gave us a great history of the city from the gorgeous view, then gave us time inside the Basilica. We saw the ruins, went through the museum, then hit a bunch of things down in old Lyon including the Guignol museum and a trip through a few traboules. Dadic was full of tips for other places to see and where to eat. I strongly recommend this tour for your first full day in Lyon!

Really informative, and thorough, tour! - We can’t give a strong enough recommendation for you to make this tour a part of your trip to Lyon. The private aspect of this tour allowed us to stay places we wanted to and move past some areas we had seen previously. We never felt rushed and were able to see everything at a pace we were quite happy to make us come away feeling like we got to learn and see all that we wanted without feeling like we just “moved past” things like can happen with some city tours. We wholeheartedly recommend making this a part of your vacation if you are wanting to learn more about the history of Lyon, which is truly more fascinating than we thought before we got there! Fun fact: if you book this on the first of the month, you can go in to the Roman museum for free!

Very enjoyable guide and introduction to Lyon! - We had an excellent experience with Didac! He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant! He tried to make sure we were exposed to the culture, food and the history of Lyon, France! We would highly recommend him!

Very Informative - Dodek was a great guide who took pride in showing us the beauty and history of Lyon. We learned a lot that we could not have learned on our own or by relying on guide books alone. It was a perfect introduction to Lyon.
