Eddy is the Gold Standard of wine tours - My old university buddies and I did the half day Northern Rhone Tour about a week ago and the wine tour was the perfect balance between humour, education, site seeing and proper immersion into all thing French. Had a great time. Thanks Eddy & Co

Wine and landscape - We had a great time... Mathilde was a very good guide! She took us two good places for wine tasting. Syrah wines were very good. Landscape was also remarkable...Overall great experience!

Excellent experience - I highly recommend the wine tour. Our guide Eddie was super helpful and knowledgeable and the wine was exceptional in both vineyards. The hosts at the vineyards were also exceptional.

Wonderful wine tasting - Eddie was a wonderful tour guide, passionate about wine and helping people experience it with deeper engagement. He learned everyone's name on the tour immediately and went out of his way to ensure everyone was both engaged and enjoying themselves. We learned a lot, enjoyed excellent wine, met lovely people, and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

All aspects of the tour... - All aspects of the tour lived up to its marketing and other reviews. The views, however, exceeded our expectations and the first winery, dating to the 1700s was architecturally amazing. Mathilde was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable and pleasant.

Did not meet promoted description - Eddy was knowledgeable and apologetic for delays. The trip was below our expectations. The night before the meeting time was changed to 15 minutes earlier. Unfortunately one couple arrived at 9am delaying our departure. The ‘ mini van’ was unpleasant and there were 8 people squeezed in, 6 of them large people. I know French people drive fast but our car ride seemed overly rushed. We didn’t get to walk through vineyards of drive through Vienne. Perhaps the fog could be blamed but overall a disappointing outings and below par for price.

Trip good, ending bad. - The overall experience for the trip was good. It was a rainy day and the host, Eddy, did his best to make the trip pleasant. Biggest complaint is Eddy dropped us off four blocks from the designated tour end point. We were somewhat disoriented as to the location and struggled to return to familiar area.

Beaujolais tour was better than this Rhone tour - The tour was only OK. We didn't visit 3 wineries, only 2. The guide was perhaps not having his best day and was abit impatient with the people on the tour. We did a Beaujolais tour a couple of days later and had a great time.
