The 12 looks like a 19, enter the big wooden door. At the end of the hallway press the button CONNER, and come up one flight of stairs to find the apartment. Please do not be early or late! This neighborhood is on top of a hill, so please take a moment to plan your journey here so you are on time.

Great wine. Amazing class! - Margaret Rose was a consummate expert and teacher. So so glas we did this! We left our teen children at the airbnb and walked through the neighborhoods and through ancient passageways to reach the airy loft. It was such a rich experience learning about the wine that is so close by, its history, geographic and climate conditions, and of course the anecdotes and characters behind the wines (and cheese) and vineyards. A must-do in Lyon! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

Great wine education - Margaret Rose did a great job of educating us on wine regions and how to be an armature sommelier. She has a passion for wine and food and it showed in her presentation. We really enjoyed the apartment and the great hospitality.

Amazing experience! - If you’re in Lyon and love wine, check out Lyon Wine Tastings. My experience was wonderful. The place is cozy and stylish, perfect for relaxing with a glass (or several!). Our host Margaret-Rose was very welcoming, super knowledgeable and made learning about French wines fun and easy. We tried a bunch of amazing wines from different regions, and each one was delicious. The whole experience felt really personal. Whether you’re really into wine or just curious, it's a fantastic way to spend an afternoon!

Definitely do this when visiting Lyon! - We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting with Margaret-Rose. She was super friendly and full of wine knowledge, including helping us understand the geography and history of the region. Every wine was delicious (even the Gamay which I’m not usually a fan of) and the cheese was also divine. The tasting was very relaxed and in a lovely apartment, where we were made to feel very comfortable from the minute we walked in. Margaret-Rose was full of passion and energy, both for the wine of the region and Lyon itself. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lyon!

Wonderful experience! - Margaret Rose was terrific! The wines and cheeses she selected were fabulous and delicious! Her knowledge of the selected wines was extensive. She answered all our questions and offered additional information that was vital to the selected wines. The atmosphere was perfect for learning and relaxing.

Personal wine testing - Wonderful place, the representative Margareth was very dedicated and knowledgeable so felt that we came home in the living room and got a professional review in the history of the wine that was based on the areas of France. Should we want something more then there should be a little replenishment on some of the flavors/ wines

Fascinating & delicious tasting - I’d seen Caroline’s IG raves of Lyon, so I figured who better to have a tasting with in Lyon. The tasting was actually run by Margaret Rose and she took us through a super descriptive and engaging wine journey of the surrounding area (2hr radius). She is a somm herself and full of historical and geographical information pertaining to local wines. On her recommendation of what to look for on local menus, I found even more delicious wine later. What a fun way to learn about Lyon and the area. I’d highly recommend for fellow English speakers.

Nice setup, a community was quickly created around the table. - The landlady spoke fast in American. It was difficult to perceive everything, otherwise the setup was very good, nice venue for the purpose.
