From Barrys Bay, it takes 15 minutes to drive around the end of the harbour to the township of Akaroa.

• Otepatotu Scenic Reserve - Take in the view and capture some photos from high above Akaroa Harbour on Summit Road.
• Christchurch - On the return to Lyttelton, the drive passes through the suburbs of Christchurch. If time permits, there will also be a drive through the center of Christchurch city. Depending on the cruise ship’s departure time, there may be some time in Christchurch City before returning to the port.
