• Taylors Mistake - Awaroa / Godley Head Walk - Starting at Taylors Mistake Beach, the walking tour of Godley Head follows a well-maintained loop track of about 8 km (3 hours). Lunch will be at Boulder Bay, followed by free time to explore. On the way back to Taylors Mistake Beach, the guide will discuss the military outpost at Godley Head and New Zealand’s role in WW2.

The return drive from Taylors Mistake to Lyttelton goes through Sumner Village and along the estuary, before passing through New Zealand’s second-longest road tunnel. Upon arrival in Lyttelton, the guide will drop participants off at the port meeting point.
