Great day in the NZ Alps - The tour was, amazing, worth the long trip to the alia and sheep farm. Our guide Jude also really went out of her way to show, us all of the sites and included a, bonus trip to Christchurch on the way back.

Great tour - Great tour, our guide Jude was very knowledgeable and the tour let us see different sides of the region. Lots of driving but with a good amount of stops.

Full day, but fun. - Our guide, Jude, was great. She went out of her way to make sure that we saw all the sights we could and still make it back to our ship in time. Jude was an excellent driver and did a great job explaining what we were seeing and what we would be seeing before we got there. On the way back, time was close, but she made sure that we made it before our cruise All Aboard time. The trip to Arthur's Pass is a long drive, but the views are great. And the Sheep farm and shearing is worth seeing.

Beautiful Landscapes - We had a wonderful tour with Graeme as our driver/guide. Yes, it is a long drive but the scenery is well worth it. We chose the pre-ordered lunch and both my husband and I enjoyed the selection. An added bonus was that we were able to see 2 keas outside the cafe. I must give kudos to Graeme for his patience with 2 of our fellow cruisers on the bus. They wanted to go to sites that apparently their third party vendor said was included but as Graeme pointed out it would possibly make us late for the last shuttle back to the ship. One of them constantly yelled out to finish Graeme's sentences. He handle all like a pro & managed to squeeze in one of their requests. I would certainly recommend this shore excursion by Leisure Tours.

Stunning views and photo ops. So glad we took this excursion! - Every stop was beautiful and this was one of our favorite stops in New Zealand! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly; we strongly recommend this experience to anyone stopping in Lyttleton.

Excellent full day trip with interesting stops - Our driver Jude was fantastic. Lots of great information and fun to talk to. Sheep shearing was interesting and our group bought the wool gloves that are so soft and breathable

Very trustworthy and ethical company - Sadly our tour was cancelled because our cruise ship could not dock in Lyttleton due to after-effects of Cyclone Gabriel, but I want to give kudos to this company for issuing us a full refund even though we did not know that our ship would not be able to dock less than 24 hours before our tour was scheduled to begin and thus did not cancel. By Viator rules, they were not required to give us a refund, but did so anyway.

Intensive, lovely day. Not kidding when they say "lots of driving!" - We loved the ride into the mountains into Arthur's Pass. The visit to the sheep farm was outstanding. Our guide, Jude, was awesome. I think the trip was rushed due to our late arrival into port. However, we knew the tour would be mostly spent driving to and from. No fault of the tour company or guide. The weather Gods were against us that day, as well. We grabbed a take away lunch to eat in the van on the way back.

A busy day of driving! - A very full day tour to get to Arthur’s Pass from the port. Our driver, June, was very friendly and did a lot of driving. You need to expect that over the 7.5 hrs of the tour, about 6 is spent on the road. The scenery is nice, and a welcome change from port views from the cruise ship, but the riding is a bit much. The sheep farm was interesting and Trevor gave a good talk/demo (along with sheep dog Ned). There’s a couple quick stops along the way (including castle rocks). We only spent a short time at the pass as we had to get back to port. As long as you’re fine with this much time in the van, you’ll enjoy the visit
